Based off a mistake someone made in my amino and everyone started to write how cute it made Ohio look. Sry its short, I didnt really try. Just something to post. Sorry.

Ohio pov

I slowly regain my consciousness, but i soon jump up, remembering what today is.

It's time, finally after trying so hard to impress America, he accepts my application to become a state.

I jump out of bed, flinging the covers off me. My foot misses one of the steps leading up to my bed, and I barely catch myself before I fall to the floor. But that near death experience, doesnt detere me. I stumble and run to my closet. But i misjudged the distance again.

From outside the room theres a small thump as Ohio collides face first into his closet.

"FUCK!-"

Ohio-1

Sighing heavily, I grip the closet door and pull myself up with it. But I shake my head and smile again. Cause there, in all its glory, i see the outfit America gave me to wear. I reach towards it and gently take it off its hanger. And carefully put it on. Dont wanna ruin it before I even become a state.

~An Hour Later, Ohio Has His Outfit On And Is At The Area Where He'll Become A State~

Still Ohio pov

I smile and wave to America once I see him. He smiles back and waves me closer. I nod and walk towards him, getting more nevorus as I walk. Once im standing in front of him, he looks down at me and holds his hand out for me to shake. I shake his hand, but I'm worrying the more I shake his hand.

"You ready?"

"Y-yes Sir!"

He suddenly frowns at me. I immediately think about what I did wrong, how do I fix it, did I just ruin this all!? But before my mind can get to more darker thoughts he puts his hand on my head.

I look up at him only to find him looking down at me with affection in his eyes.

"Dont worry Ohio, you'll be fine."

"B-b-but what about my eye?"

"That doesnt matter, there's another State you'll meet called Gerogia. He wears a eye patch, plus theres something wrong with all of us. You'll fit right in."

Upon hearing that I smile widely and hug him. He stumbles back a bit, probably surprised before he hugs me back. Soon he lets go and directs my atition to the front of the area where in. (Its like a courtyard) Some states are already arriving.

I glance at him once more before I direct my attion to the states arriving.

~A Few Minutes Later (im lazy fuck off)~

"....And we welcome Ohio as a new State. Be safe, be healthy, be propitious."

Upon finishing those words America pins the white star badge to my shoulder. I see another star form on his head and the other states cheer. I smile to America, stars bascilly in my eyes before I salute to him. There are a few chuckles and squeals from the other states, I'm confused before Amerca laughs and switchs my arm.

I blush furiously and apologize stuttering rapidly. America chuckles and puts his hand on my head again. Giving me a caring and affectionate smile before walking away. Probably to deal with Country stuff.

As he walks away im still apologizing to everyone when one approaches me and leans on my shoulder.

"Don't worry about it. Gerogia did the same we just can't mention it without him runing after us. He'll probably excuse you as your new, but not me. Names North Carolina by the way, but just call me NC, K?"

And pushes off my shoulder and faces me, holding his hand out for me to shake.

I look at him and blush.

He's hot....NO! You just got accepted Ohio amd you saluted wrong! Don't think of him like that.

I smile and shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you North Carolina. Im Ohio."

Thus stated my journey of being a state. And boy is it interesting. But, thats a story for another time.

Also I dont really ship Ohio x NC. But I like it enough to write it and I thought it would fit in good here.
