thawing manure
wet hay and old barn
the scent of home
wet socks
slush in my boots
gone to Walmart
hushed quiet
One Thousand Years swells
he waits for me
thank u, next
but I ain't grateful-
for my cheating ex
red and peeling
skin singed by the sun
twelve weeks till summer
glittering stars
placed by poetic gods
moon watching quietly
blowing winds
boughs quiver on the grass
protecting its charge
won't sleep tonight
the plot thickens and mystery grows
must keep reading
fireflies dancing
crackling smoke in the air
cold beers all night
castles destroyed
a kingdom burned to ash
you do not yield
stunningly soft
motor rumbling on
pumpkin naps
