“Come on Lucy we have to go to school”. Cameron said softly to your 3 year old daughter.
Lucy clutched onto your leg tight while Cam tried to pull her off. “Lucy baby you have to go to school, I promise you it will be so much fun.” You said to her while trying to move your leg around to loosen her grip.
“BUT MUMMY I DON’T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!!!” Lucy screamed.
“You’re going to have so much fun princess I promise you” Cam whispered sweetly to your daughter, pressing a soft kiss to her chubby checks.
She pouted and wrapped her small arms around Cameron’s torso, letting the tears silently fall down her precious little checks.
“Daddy I want to stay with you and mummy” She said as the tears began to fall harder.
“Lucy you know I hate it when you cry, your my little princess and you always will be” Cam said hugging her tightly and stroking the back of her head.
Lucy hung her head low and walked towards the door.
“ pick up your head princess your tiara is falling” Cam said to Lucy giving her a huge hug and walking her down to preschool.
