First, I'm going to question why it is that in almost every fanfic the first kiss and only kisses seem to always be mouth to mouth, lips to lips.
Wouldn't a kiss on the forehead be more interesting, confusing, and innocent? Or a sweet kiss on the cheek or neck? You got to start off slow, you know? People usually aren't that desperate! Slow it down, let them take their time to figure things out, let things develop and flourish. Slowly blooming into something that makes more sense.
