Chapter 13: Resort Vacation Part 1

Recap: Mae and Darren had their 'Friendly Date' , they went to the place where Darren brought Mae before and they started stargazing. Then Darren kissed Mae's forehead.

Reminder: Mae's friends doesn't have a crush on Darren, it's just that they admire him but not as a crush.

I smiled at the thought of what happened last night, I leaned by my locker as I thought of the memory.

My friends looked at me weirdly, "Mae, are you okay?" Camille asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I assured them.

"You were spacing out just now, what happened yesterday?" Camille asked me again.

I didn't tell them about the 'Friendly Date' that I had with Darren but I decided to tell them today.

"Darren asked me out on a Friendly Date the day before yesterday and I agreed, so we had the Friendly Date last night." I explained to them, they gasped and started squealing.

I shushed them and they motioned me to continue, "So we watched a scary movie then we went to the place he brought me before, we started to stargaze while eating pizza. Then..." I smiled again as the thought of that.

"Then?" They asked trying to sound calm.

"He kissed my forehead." I told them.

"Aww so sweet." Rica gushed.

"It's not really a big deal though but I find it sweet." I said.

"Yeah but a lot of girls would want that to happen to them." Camille said.

"We're going to the resort tomorrow, you guys ready?" I asked them.

"I'm more than ready, I packed all of my stuffs and yeah. I just can't wait!" Julienne exclaimed, we all started talking about what we're going to do in the resort and stuffs like that.

"Hey guys!" Darren greeted from behind, my friends looked at me and gave me a playful grin.

"Oh hey!" I greeted him.

"You guys want to come with me to a resort?" Darren asked.

"What resort?" Kyle asked him.

"Here." He handed Kyle the resort ticket and guess what? We were both going to the same resort and on the same date!

"We're also going there." Angelica said as she high-five Darren.

"Oh, so we'll just meet there tomorrow. Bye!" He bid his goodbye to us.

"Darren's coming with us, I'm so excited!" Kyle squealed.

"We need swimming suits, let's go to the mall later?" Rica asked us.

"I already have one." I told them.

Camille looked at me and laughed "Yeah, yours is a swimming suit for a swimming competition. But they're talking about bikinis."

I glared at her, "I thought you were my friend" I said jokingly.

"Yeah that's why your going shopping with us." Camille stated

"Fine." I gave up, I have never won an argument with Camille.

"Good, now let's all meet at the mall after school." Camille said while patting my head.
