"Prom night is tomorrow night so everyone be sure to have a partner and dance like there's no tomorrow!" Zoe, our school representative, shouts down the hallway.
I sigh. Of course, I have no one to go with, as always. We always have school dances and stuff and it's always the usual.

I slam my locker and find Emma and JK pressed up against each other against the locker.
"Hoy mga lovebirds. Halika na." I walk ahead of them.

I make my way to door 501 after Ms. April dismisses us.
As if on cue, JK goes out from the door with Emma in tow.
"Hey guys!" I say as they pass by me. I frown and catch up to them.
"Uhm...lovebirds? Hello?" I tilt my head to look at them.
I gasp as JK pushes me to the side of the hallway.
"Pwede ba? You're blocking our way." He says and they go out of the school.
I watch them leave before getting up from the floor and tightening my grip on my 'YOLO' book bag.

When I get home, my phone buzzes and I check it.
Emma the bestest: OH MY GOD HAILEY I AM SO SORRY!!!! JK had a really really bad day and he acted out you!! I got so mad at him when he dragged me away from you!!!! I am so so so so so so so SORRY!
I sigh and text back.
Me: It's fine.
That's all I said.
I'm not planning on talking them. In a long time.
