~5 years later~(she was 14 yrs before, which makes her 19 now. Just sayin)
I fumble for my dorm room keys in my book bag, a portion of my hair falling in my face.
I finally find it and push open the door, revealing Hannah and her best friend: Netflix.
She's so engrossed in her daily dose of Teen Wolf she almost doesn't recognize me.
"Hey Han." I call before going to the kitchen. She nods once before continuing to mouth the words of Allison.
I grab a banana and chocolate syrup, throwing them into a blender. I pour some milk before blending it, also placing two bagels in the toaster.
I hop on the counter.
Ever since that prom night, I've never had a relationship with a single boy. Yes, the boys here in Westchester were pretty hot, but I didn't consider.
The ding of the toaster snaps me out of my thoughts and I turn off the blender. I get two glasses and two plates to put the food in before heading out to Hannah.
The ending credits were out already when I plopped on our beanbag and Han sighed.
"School starts next week. I can't believe summer is so fast. Do you think there'll be cute freshmen?"
I roll my eyes. Typical Hannah Greene.
"Maybe. Remember Drake? He was pretty cute." I shrug. "Yeah, but that was, like, three years ago or something. He's a senior now! Not as cute as he first was." She whines as I pat her on the back.
"Well, if you get a boyfriend then you won't be a part of our Pathetic Singles Club anymore." I give her a half smile.
Hannah, Sofia, Jennifer, and I had made that club when we first arrived here. Emma went to a different college, but we still kept in touch every Saturday and Sunday dinner at the all famous San Fransisco Panera.
She sighs. "I guess."
"That's the spirit! Now let's watch some-"
Ear splitting screams cut me off. We both jump and pounding arises from outside our door.
We exchange nervous glances.
"What was that?" Han whispers in fright. "What if it's Annabelle revenging us?"
Someone's been watching too much horror.
"Let me in! Please!" A male shouts from outside.
I inch towards the door and swing it open. A boy about our age stumbles past me. He went in too fast for me to look at his face. I close the door I the screaming girls outside.
I turn around, to see Hannah's mouth dropped open.
"Han? Are you okay?"
The boy turns around at my voice and I gasp.
It's Juan Karlos.
