Eleanor and Ethan sat in the car, watching road go by.

Destination: California.

"Thank you for bringing me along," Ethan spoke.

"Of course! I know Richard would love to meet you."

Ethan smiled at Eleanor. The two best friends could not be separated, no matter what came between them. Their characters on Shameless shared the same bond they do in real life. Although Eleanor had left the show, the bond with the cast was strong and there was no way she would let that all go.

The two continued to converse on different topics as they drove to California.

"Does Richard know you're coming early?"

"Nope! He expects me to be coming tomorrow afternoon. But you know me, I love surprising people."

"That is true. Did he tell you where he was staying?"

"Yeah he gave me all the details yesterday. I booked a room at the same hotel for us as well."

"For me, you mean? I know you'll be going to Richard's room," Ethan said giving her a knowing smirk.

Eleanor playfully hit Ethan on the leg and laughed.

"You don't know what I will do."

Ethan sarcastically rolled his eyes and sent Eleanor a smile.

The two arrived at their hotel room and placed their belongings inside. Eleanor sent Richard a text asking if he was in his room. He instantly replied with a yes and Eleanor knew she had to go to him.

Her and Ethan walked down the halls towards Richard's room. She hadn't seen him for so long and since they exchanged of their first 'I love you.' She felt nervous.

They stopped in front of his room, 342, and Eleanor looked at the door. Behind it was the love of her life. Ethan looked at her and signalled her to knock. She smiled and gave him a nod. Her knuckles came in contact and knocked three times.

Behind the door, Richard sat on his sofa and looked at the door with confusion when he heard the knocks. He stood up and approached the door, not bothering to look in the peephole. He instantly assumed it was house-keeping.

The door opened and their she stood, the love of his life. He was stunned; shocked, but most of all, happy. His mouth instantly curved into a smile as stepped forward and picked her up, spinning her around.

"You're here!" He spoke into her ear.

"I'm here, I'm here," she spoke out of happiness.

He put her down and instantly planted his lips onto hers. The feeling sent fireworks through their bodies. Behind them, a cough was heard. Eleanor instantly turned around and found Ethan staring at them with a blank face. Eleanor instantly clicked.

"Oh! I'm so sorry. Richard, I would like you to meet Ethan Cutkosky. My best friend and co-star. Ethan, this is Richard Madden, my boyfriend."
