Forever cursed in love are the observant. Forever a slave to the detail.
She felt it - completely invincible.
But it felt as if it was falling, falling faster than God's work - and she was running for it.
She held his heart tightly in her petite hands, he fingers cold and shivery.
She sits at the bottom of a swimming pool, her thoughts enveloping around her like a blanket.
And he tells her, "Oh, baby girl, you know we're gonna be legends,". He promises her as his heart jingles in her palms.
The words replay in her mind, his tongue a weapon as it slashes all the other memories inside her.
His devilish nature haunted her, his eyes pouring with lust and glory whenever his eyes landed on the waves of her hips.
Overtime, his mood changes: one day he says that he's the king and she's the queen, the next he's asserting his dominance - his educated eyes reading every phrase in her mind.
It's ironic that she would have to do something so sinful to get what she wants. Maybe it's not how it seems.
She loathed it but loved it all at once - she couldn't help herself.
But for now he's all she's got, the sun in his eyes blinding her vision of what it could be like without him.
She tried imagining what it would be like if she wasn't human tonight.
What would it feel like if the light in the crack that separated her thighs was too strong for his body to slam into?
But she couldn't help but not realise what he was doing to her...
All he was doing was leaving her to fly, as he joined in with the people on the streets.
