Chapter 7

Brittany's pov

"I've got your precious brother. You should have seen the look on his face whenever I broke his ribs, whenever I tore him down, whenever I made him suffer. If you want him, come and get him. I'll offer a trade, Brittany for Tj. The longer it takes for you to get him, the more he suffers. I'll be waiting for you. Don't try anything funny. I can't wait to see you Brittany...

I slide down the wall, not believeing what I had just read. Daniel has Tj. He's hurt and It's all my fault. I'm the one that sent him out here to look for him. I could feel myself tearing up at the thought of Tj being hurt.

Zayne walked over to me and sat me in his lap and whispered soothing words in my ear while he gently ran his fingers through my hair.

I honestly don't know what I would do without him, even though he had a gun to my head only a few hours ago.

Then I broke down. I let my tears run free.

"Let it all out." Zayne whispered in my ear.

I cried until my eyes were red and puffy and I couldn't cry anymore. I blushed realizing how terrible I looked and moved my head down so he couldn't see me. I felt his hand underneath my chin, gently lifting my head up until our eyes met.

I melted into his touch and the strong gaze of his eyes. I blushed even more and mumbled "I'm sorry for freaking out, I just lost Tj, I don't know what I would do if I lost you too." I felt the tears swelling up again and looked down at the ground try ping to stop them from spilling over.

Once again I felt my head being lifted up and he said to me gently, "I don't blame you. But Brittany don't worry, we will get Tj back. And I will always be by your side. I promise." I couldn't help but smile while he wiped away my tears. And the small touch brought warmth all over my face. What was with this boy making me blush?!

I snuggled up against his chest and he wrapped his large arms around my body and for once, I felt safe. I believed him. He wouldn't leave me, he will always be by my side.

I then realized how much today has wore me out. He continued to run his fingers through my hair and I fell into a dreamless sleep.

Zayne's pov

I looked down at Brittany fast asleep in my arms and smiled. I stood up and picked her up with me. She wrapped her arms around me and snuggled her face into my neck and her warm breath was driving me crazy giving me goosebumps all along my neck. It took all my willpower not to wake her up and show her what she meant to me.

I started to walk through the store and look into all of the rooms until I found one with a small makeshift bed inside it, no doubt Daniel's. Anger flared through my veins at the thought of him having Brittany. He would have to kill me first.

It was almost like Brittany could sense something was wrong because she wrapped herself around my body tighter, making me instantly relax.

I layed her down in the bed and saw her shiver so I looked around and saw a large blanket and layed it across her body and kissed her head before I walked back through the store. I went and checked every window, every door, every possible way to get inside. I had to know that Brittany would be safe.

When I was finished I walked back to the room I left Brittany in and saw her laying in bed awake. "What are you doing up?" I asked her gently.

She blushed and said, "It's actually a little easier to sleep with you near me." She blushed a deep scarlet. I loved it whenever she blushed.

"I could pull up a chair next to the bed and watch you sleep?" I offered.

"No." she stated simply.

"Oh." I trailed off feeling stupid, of course she wouldn't want me to be with her.

She smiled and pulled back the blanket and pat the empty space beside her. It was my turn to blush and I smiled. I unlaced my boots and layed down next to her. She moved closer and closer into me. I smiled brightly and wrapped my arms around her.

After a few minutes I saw her eyelids droop, she was getting sleepy and was about to fall asleep. I could also feel mine getting heavy. "Sweet dreams Brittany." I whispered to her and fell asleep with Brittany in my arms.

*****Morning******

Zayne's pov

"Hurry up and get your butt outta there or I'm leaving you!" I playfully screamed at Brittany. Earlier we found clothes and Brittany literally freaked out. Now she's in a room changing.

"I'll kick your ass!" she yelled back.

"Oh please!" I started to laugh. Just them the door opened and I shut my mouth real quick and my jaw just dropped again.

Brittany walked out of the room with a tight black shirt and and black skinny jeans on which showed of all of her curves amazingly. And her combat boots made her look tougher and even sexier.

"Are you going to drool all day or are we going to leave?" She started to laugh.

"Yea, um. I mean yeah. Let's go." I was stumbling for words and I could feel my neck heat up.

Brittany's face got a serious look and she said' "Let's get Tj back."

Hey guys that's the chapter!! I'm sorry if it sucked! I wrote it three times and Wattpad didn't save it! I just hope it wasn't too bad. Well I hope you guys like it! And how about a deal?? Let's see, 40 votes and put up the next chaper? It's only 18 votes left 'till 40. I don't care if I get them tonight. I'll post it tonight.
