Zombie Apocalypse Metranome Virus

Chapter 3

TJ Point Of View (pov)

"Come on guys their catching up!" We made it out the back door, but the zombies stayed right on our tail the whole time. I had let Zayne and Brittany in front of me while I took out a few of the zombies with my .22 rifle.

Brittany pov

"Guys I see a store!". I screamed at Zayne and Tj. Only a minute or two in front of us, was a nice little siore that we could rest at and keep the zombies away from us. "Hurry up gu- Owwwww!!" I screamed out pain! And fell to the ground.

Zayne pov

"Owwwww!!!" That sounded like uh-oh." BRITTANY!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Ii turned around to see brittany lying on the ground holding her ankle, from what I could tell she tripped and twisted it.

"HOLD ON!" I started firing at each of the Zombies that got within spitting distance of the goddess lying on the ground. But then I heard the most dreadful sound you could imagine in a Zombie Apocalypse... A click of you're guns empty clip." Damn it!" I yelled. "TJ shoot them!" TJ tried firing but all you could hear was an empty clip, being pushed to its limit. Tj was out too

Out of nowhere a Zombie sprang forward out of the croud and grabbed Brittanys hair and pulled her head back, ready to take a chunk out of her neck. "NOOOO!" I Screamed. And out of no where I watched as a hole appear in the zombie's forehead and watch it fall over dead on the ground by Brittany's feet.

"What??!?" I studdered stupidly staring at the zombie's body. I looked over my shoulder and saw a boy no older than me astanding in the doorway of the store we were heading for.

"YOU!" the stranger yelled at me. "GET HER, COME ON!"

He didn't have to tell me twice. He started to continue shooting the Zombies surronding Brittany.

I gently lifted Brittany up, carefully so I wouldn't hurt her ankle more. I started to move and after a few steps an zombie grabbed onto my leg causing my fall, I made sure I didn't hurt Brittany in the process$ I pushed her away as the zombie crawled on top of me baring its rotten teeth at me trying with all its might to try and take a bite of me. It took all I had to keep its mouth from me but I was slowly losing the battle. But one sound came to my ears, Brittany screamed when the zombies started to surround her. Her scream gave me some kind out new found strength. I pushed the zombie from me and while it fell over I grabbed its head in each of my heads and twisted as hard and fast as I could and I was satisfied as soon as I heard the sickening 'SNAP!'

I ran over to Brittany and started to try and fight off the zombies to keep them from her, while the stranger shot all I couldn't get. I threw the last to the ground and watched a bullet fly through the air and drill into the undead corpse' skull. So I could finally carry Brittany to safety until the other zombies caught up

Brittany pov

After the stranger made a path for Zayne to get me, he came over and gently lifted me up in his strong broad arms. And he started to run for the store.

Zayne made inside the doors of the store and a second after, Tj ran in behind him. And him and the stranger slammed the door shut barricading it shut with the various items that were at hand. While the zombies tried their hardest to get through.

I looked up into Zayne's eyes, and realization hit me. He was beautiful. He was strong and sweet, every though he stuck a gun to my head, he risked his life to help me. I kissed him on his cheek and whispered him a thank you and gave him a smile. He said "your welcome" a little breathlessly and I could have swore I saw him blush.

Zayne pov

"GET HER INSIDE". The stranger yelled to me. I stepped inside and TJ came after me as soon as the stranger cleared out the rest of the zombies. And the two of them barricaded the door to keep the zombies from breaching. You could still hear their loud moans and groans as they pouded on the doors trying to get to their meal.

"Bring her in the back." The stranger said "I was studying medicine before this started. I can wrap up her ankle but she's not gonna be able to walk on it for a while."

"Thank you.. For everything Mr..."

"You can call me Daniel."
