Chapter 9

"Great." He said as he grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the living room and down the hall.

I couldn't tell whether or not he was smiling, but I'm pretty sure he was.

There it goes again,
That same feeling of butterflies. But this time, it was more like a swarm of angry hornets.

He was actually holding my hand.

We found ourselves in some kind of a second living room in the back.

Empty.

The only thing in the room was a pile of discarded cups. Josh turned and looked at me; that same cute smile on his face that I had adored since I saw him.

I hadn't even said anything and he was already asking to dance with me. Did he like me? My mind was racing, but it was not racing near as fast as my heart was beating.

"I'll lead." He said as he reached over to an end table and flicked on a radio. The music began playing, it was a pretty good dancing song; maybe if we were living in the 50s. He then started moving. I moved along with him. It wasn't long before I felt like we were being watched.

We were.

I looked back to see about twelve pairs of eyes watching us from around the corner.

Crap.

If Marsha finds out I'll be kicked out for sure.

I slowly stopped.

Josh looked at me.

"Everything alright?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm just kinda, tired." I fibbed, quite well actually if I do say so myself.

"Oh, okay. Maybe we should go get something to drink?"

"Yeah, sure."

He led me back to the kitchen. No signs of Marsha...yet.

Hi guys!

I'd just like to say I am so sorry that it took so long for me to update; I lost my password to my wattpad.
Ugh.
And I just started my freshman year of highschool! Yay me! (Cue sarcasm)
Anyways, I'm going to try and do my best at giving more updates, and being more active.
Thank you all sooooo much for all the love you've been giving my stories; hopefully, I can return the favor by sending out more updates more quickly!

Haha, well I really do hope that won't happen.. Though it might be fun for some of you. :)
