Three

The Doctor and Amelia Pond sprinted into the TARDIS and slammed the door behind them. They leaned on it, panting. Amy's head was pounding and burning. She closed her eyes while she got her breath back. When she opened them the Doctor was madly sonicing the door to the TARDIS.

"Doctor, what were those things? Explain!" Amy practically shouted at the distracted Time Lord. The Doctor, who was busy frantically hitting controls on the TARDIS controls, waved a dismissive hand at her, obviously not listening.

"DOCTOR!! EXPLAIN!!" She yelled, yanking him up to face her. "Now." She said warningly.

"Erm, they were, uh, Daleks. Well. I say Daleks, what I really mean Daleks if they evolved in...oh, I don't know. A million years. Gone now, don't worry. Blew them up, the lot of them. Sort of."

"Sort of?"

"Yes. Now as you can see, we are in the middle of an inter dimension crossover. Not good, so I sort of need to fix it."
"Because an....inter...dimension....cross thingy is?"
"The crossing over of two dimensions.....yeah." He saw the look on her face. "Yeah, like I said......not good."
"Okay." There was a moment of silence (if you could call I that), before an almighty shuddering crash and the next thing amy knew, she was lying on the metal grating floor, head aching. She sat up, gingerly patting the lump on her head.
"Ohhhhhhh.......owwww....." She moaned, taking the scenario in. The TARDIS was not a pretty sight, and in the midst of it all was the doctor, much in the same position as her.

"Tell me about it........." He replied. Then he suddenly jumped up, as of nothing was wrong, and flew to the doors. "Oh. Oh. Well. Oh."

"What? What is it? What happened?" Amy called, alarmed. "Where are we?" She said sharply.

"Well.....we are......we are in.....London."

"Oh, thank god." Amy called back.

But.....er......not exactly outside."

"What?"

"Er......you may want to pick that up.....it's getting all bloody." The doctor pointed to the smashed mug, on the floor of the dead mans apartment, to the astonishment of the policeman in front of him.
