Chap 5

I've never been in the blackout for over a day.

its scary i don't know what to do. Should i do anything? i wish i could cry i've never have since the shot they gave us makes me have no real emotions like crying. I can feel sadness but i cant cry. I can scream in joy because thats a real emotion and i don't have any. I just sit in the little corner and try to sleep. I then feel this stinging that wont go away then my neck starts to feel numb. So i feel my neck and something is on it. i look at my hand and see this spider about 3 inches big in my hand. i put it on the ground and step on it with my shoes. then out of no where a door opens. "Ms.Amanda you are excused out of the blackout" a guard says i get up and slowly walk out. "Hold" the guard says strictly i am not a dog i don not to be held up so someone can catch up with me so i don't run away. luckily i wasn't thinking out loud again. I stop where im at as i feel a tight grip around my arm it almost feels like a snake trying to cut of your circulation. I stand there almost in shock. "You come with us" the guard strictly states

We started walking towards the building where I sleep and go to school. "Emily!" The guard yells emily runs out and stands in front of me. "I thought you where better than this" Emily spat

"I'm sorry"

I look down at my feet and the guards let go of my arm. "Go with your over looker... NOW" the guards yelled

I go up to emily and she says "Go" I start walking having emily push me to go faster.

I finally get to my room then I walk in

"Emily" I ask

"What!"she yells

"Why did they let me out so early?"

"Why do you care just stay in your room got it!?"

I nod and walk inside. I go and sit down on my bed and start my homework that Emily gave me.

30 mins later

"Amanda school assembly now"Emily yells

I run out of my room and get in line with everyone else.

We start walking down to our rooms with our overlooks right by outside.They hand cuffed us so we won't try anything bad. They do this every time because there is always a kid that try's to kill someone.

We all split up into our sections of the school girls and boys separation problem.

I walk into the assembly room and sit in the seat that they have for us.

"Kids there has been an issue with cheating recently right?" Mrs.Sarah asked (the women governor) We all nod in sync

"So I've heard so now anyone that is cheating for now on will be sent straight to me and mr.Phil's office ( the male governor)

"Yes ma'am" we all say in sync

"Thank you" mrs.Sarah says

"Now over lookers you are called what you are for a reason to over look them especially you emily..."mrs.Sarah states

All eyes turn to emily and me. Emily and I both turn bright red then emily nods and looks at me with disgust. I then just start looking at my lap. like I'm a bad person the government has no idea what they are doing to us I'm not a bad person they are. Emily used to be an over looker that would be extremely nice. I miss that Emily she used to give me a pen and paper to draw. She didn't want to use a paperdisc because she knew that they would realize one was missing. I miss the old emily so much the one now makes me tremble every time she gets near me. I bet it was the government again they are probably controlling her now just like she is a robot.

"Everyone out now!" Mrs.sarah yelled

I then remembered I was here

Emily runs over and grabs my arm and twist it and starts to pull me away from my seat. I'm practically walking backwards since Emily is pulling my arm.

5 mins later

Emily opens my door and pushes me in my room

"HOW COULD YOU!!" Emily screams

"What?" I ask

"You embarrassed me for YOU being bad what has been wrong with you lately your behavior has been out of control" Emily yells

"I..I'm sorry" I apologize

"You know sorry doesn't cut it anymore" Emily barks

Emily slams the door behind her.

I just sit here on the ground with my hands cuffed.

"Here" mrs.Sarah says as she walks in

She walks over goes behind me and un handcuffs me

I then feel metal release from my wrist.

Mrs.Sarah walks out and all of a sudden I here Emily plead.

"Please mrs.Sarah I'm sorry I truly am please" Emily begs

"That's know excuse it was YOUR behavior that was acting up not hers" mrs.Sarah yells.

I then here aloud slap and here Emily yell a little

"Owwwwwwwww!" Emily screams

"Well you should have known better" mrs. Sarah says as she storms off. At this point all I can hear is stomping.

Then Emily walks in....
