Chapter 8

After I rested I go check to see if collen is awake "hello collen" . I waited around 30 seconds for her to respond but she didn't. I decide to walk to my window to see what's new but nothing ever is. I finally get two knocks on my wall I jump in excitement and run over to the wall. "Collen!" I scream. "I was sleeping Amanda" collen says in a deep voice. "Oh no I'm sorry did I wake you" I worry "yes but stop being so nice God" collen says angered "fine" I say sassing collen back. " now let me sleep okay little one" "ok bye collen" I walk back over to the window and start imaging the perfect life. I start imaging the grass a perfect green and the sky pure blue that has white clouds scattered around, where little cottages sit all side by side but in a good way. where collen and I can actually see each other. When I have someone who loves me. I snap out of my daydream to pounding on the door "wake up we don't have all day" I sigh then open up the door having straight posture. "Okay I'm ready". I walk out in to the straight line wondering where we are all going. Collen is right behind me. Collen kicks me and I turn around real fast and say "quit we're going to get caught" I hear collen sigh and I roll my eyes. The line starts moving and we head into the school. I'm not shocked though considering we have school assembly's every day. This assembly is different there's no chairs... We all stand in 12 rows of 10 kids. Our headmaster is standing in the front. "Everyone you may know me as mrs.Son I am the owner as all of the schools here. Now there's been a slight problem with your staying. There's not enough rooms so we will be transferring 500 of you to a new place that we shall not name." "Now don't get exited thinking your going home it's not like that. Some of you will meet your parents depending on where you live and we have the list here." I start screaming inside thinking i'll get to see my parents she starts off the list

Collen Connors
My stomach drop I'm losing the one person I thought I could know forever but I won't. I never hear my name and I'm staying. Collen is still right next to me and I take a glance over at her and her face is gleaming with joy. I wish I had that feeling. Collen glances right back at me and her gleaming smile is gone, I start to see a tear drop form in the corner of her eyes and watch it fall all the way down her cheek till you can see whole face covered in tear stains. I wish I never had to witness this. We start walking back and I try to hold my emotions back till i get in my room. I then start sobbing till the point I feel like I can't anymore. My body feels like it's been punched and I can't take it but I'm happy for collen. I start to hear sobs from Collens room and I lay down and let my body start to loose felling hearing such sadness from someone who never seems so sad. I try to get up but my body can't seem to try. I feel lost and the gravity is heavier than ever like a rock wall is in my stomach, and I can't swallow like something is stuck in my throat but span still barley breath and I don't know how. Collen might just be a person but I found my self from her and I don't want her to leave me here. I don't know what to do thoughts are just swarming around my head and I feel like I. Thinking 10000 things at once. I hear the sobs stop and then I hear a faint shaking whimper "I have a plan"
