BRAD
You know, despite the fact that I was about to die, getting eaten by mutant bats was a pretty awesome way to go. Except we didn't die. A loud crackle of lightning flashed. We all looked up in astonishment. The sky became darker, and rain began to fall. The bats were whining like dogs. Thunder boomed once more, and the bats howled in pain. They abruptly flew off in fear. "W-well, that was...lucky," Kate said. Rain trickled through the leaves, making the giant forest quite peaceful. We all sat there in silence. "So, any idea where we are?" Ryan asked. Uncertain looks came from everyone. "Well, my theo-" "Brad, shut up," Kate grumbled. I felt a slight sting in my chest. "Hey, I want to hear it," Ryan said. I smiled, but not before glaring at Kate.
"In the Elemental Warriors series, the heroes get transported into another dimension, and they all obtain the same uniform! In this alternate universe, there are monsters roaming around, like giant wolf men and vampires! Each member of the hero team has a different power, which they obtained from a crystal, but it was shattered and spread across the entire planet. SO the team has to get-"
"Okay, I think I have the gist of it," Ryan said, "But we don't have a crystal, or powers I don't think." Kate hopped back on her feet. "I mean, anything's possible now, right?" I looked at her in surprise. "What's with the sudden change in attitude?" I asked, teasingly. Kate stuck her tongue out at me. Ryan gazed up at the leaves. "Oh! Guys! Look!" We all looked up. There was what appeared to be a menacing shadow. Lightning flashed and we saw a person in robes similar to ours. "Who is that?" Kate asked. "HEYYYYY, DOWN HERE!" I yelled, waving my arms around. Ryan and Kate looked at me with wide eyes. "What?" The person on the trees then leaped off and landed gracefully in front of us, and a crackle of electric sparks shot out when their feet touched the ground. His greenish hood hung heavily over their face. Ryan and Kate stepped back a bit. I stayed put. "Hi! We're kinda lost. Can you tell us where we are?" I asked. There was a moment of silence. Then, a slight chuckled came from the hooded figure. We looked at them in confusion. They began to laugh, and we couldn't believe our ears. "G-Gabe!?" We all said at once. He pulled down his hood, and there was no mistaking that face. "What's up?" We then all tackled-hugged him. We landed on the ground. "WAIT, GUYS! DON'T!" There was a loud zap of electricity, and we all went flying. "Owwwww. What was that?" Kate asked, rubbing her back. Gabe raised his arms and electricity surged between them. His eyes had a yellow tint to them. "N-no, it can't be..." Kate stepped back. "Brad, don't get too excited, but your theory might-" "I WAS RIGHT!" I screamed. My heart raced with excitement. "Wait, so does that mean, I might also have powers!? How do I activate them!?" I waved my arms around, but nothing happened. Gabe snapped his fingers, and a few sparks fell to the ground. "I was attacked by one of those bat things, I had a rush of adrenaline and before I knew it, I fried one of those things!" We looked at him with a mixture of surprise, admiration, and fear. "Wait, wait, wait... Did YOU cause the storm to happen!?" Kate asked. Gabe smiled. "Yeah! I just kinda shot a bolt up and it kinda started thundering. I can also sorta float! I haven't fully figured it out though, I keep falling." Gabe then looked around, "Where's Cora?" Everyone looked at each other with realization. "I wonder if she's out there somewhere? I mean, we all got here. Wherever this place is," Ryan said. I felt a rush of excitement. "Guys! Don't you all see? We've been chosen for some awesome destiny, it's our duty to go on an adventure and save the universe!" I said. Maybe I was getting too excited because I suddenly felt like I had a fever. "Brad, you okay? I think the hype has gotten to your head," Gabe said. My vision grew blurry, and my feet felt light. "I....I don't feel so good," I said. Then everything went white.
RYAN
"Brad! BRAD!" He had fainted and began to fall backwards. I quickly ran and caught him before he hit the ground. Then, I yelped in pain and dropped him. He landed hard with a thud. "Ryan! What the hell happened!?" Kate shrieked. I raised my hands, trembling. "H-he burned me." A crackling sound began to develop. The moss around Brad had begun to darken. Slight puffs of smoke and steam rose from his body. We all took a step back.

I woke up in a circle of flames. Well, guess I'm dead. For some reason, I didn't feel any heat... Wait. I jumped to my feet, and I realized I was still in the forest. My friends looked at me in fear at a distance. "Did I do this?" Slowly, a smile crept onto my face. "Yessssssss!" I threw my hands in the air with joy, and blast of fire flew off of them. Scorched branches fell on the mossy ground. "You know what this means!?" I yelled to my friends. They all shook their heads in silence. "We're just like the elemental warriors! Except knockoff versions of them! We're Team Knockoffs!" I laughed as I continued shooting blasts of flames. Gabe looked at everyone. "He's going to murder us in his ecstasy."i was calling for help
