NORA
In the shadows we could see distant lights in the forest. We were close to the village of Aika. I held up my hand, signaling to our troops to stop. I looked back at all of them in disgust. I grabbed the nearest one by his collar. "Tell me, why is it that you all wear that hideous, red scarf around your neck!?" He looked at me with wide eyes, veins showing in his struggle. Disgusting. "I-it's our symbol of complete devotion. We stand by our leader, no matter what!" I threw him to the ground. "Your leader is nothing but a mere human. You shall now give your loyalty to our King. Get rid of that filthy...red," I spat. The soldier got back up to his feet. "No! Our leader is a prophet, given power by the god of this world!" I was taken back. How could someone be so idiotic to believe in such things!? "Get out of my sight." I waved my arm, and the air grew icy. The sound of cracking filled the air, followed by screams of pure agony. By the end, a pile of flesh and ice was at my feet. The rest of the army looked at the corpse in disbelief. "Anyone else care to speak out?" The remaining soldiers then silently removed their scarfs and tossed them. "Nora, what the hell are you doing!? You can't just go and kill our army like that!" An annoying, authoritative voice said. I turned around to face Scar. "This was one of a couple hundred. We still have thousands back at headquarters that are more competent than these idiots." Scar made a tsk-tsk sound as he wiggled his finder. "Nora, my reliable partner, wasting resources? Do I have to report you?" I grinned and shoved him on the arm playfully. "Get serious, you moron. Let's set this plan in motion." We both turned to our army. "Listen up. We are about to invade the home of the Greens, one of the strongest races on our planet. We will take two of you with us to retrieve what we need. The rest of you will show no mercy whatsoever. Understood?" I announced. There were slight murmurs of agreement, but I could see some of them shaking under the armor we provided them. I was so done with these vermin. "Let's go!" Scar yelled out. We then rushed into the forest.

KATE
"Get the hell away from them." I stared at the knight and then to Gabe and Brad. Gabe was clutching his neck, still gasping. Brad looked so lifeless on the ground. And Ryan... "You're gonna pay for what you've done..." I raised my arms, felt the humidity in the air. The rain had gathered in this forest. Its energy flowed through me, a surge, like a connection. I was one with the Earth and the Earth was a part of me. "You won't stand a chance!" The knight used his axe to throw a slash beam my way. I glared, and there was a flash of blue. An aura had formed around me, and my hair began to flow upwards. Everything felt like it was in slow motion. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. There's a raging river running through my veins. I can hear a voice within. It's telling me to...fight! I came back to reality. Quickly I swung an arm up, and a shield of water formed in front of me. The beam crashed into it, causing droplets of purple and blue to spread everywhere. The knight vanished again, but somehow, I could feel his presence. I could visualize him running, aiming for the back of my neck with his sickle axe. I immediately turned around and swung my hands as if I had my own blade. A loud clank echoed through the forest. "W-what!?" I had created a water sickle axe and countered the knight's. Our arms shook with force as we pushed against one another. How is this possible? Wait. Now's not the time to question these things. I grinned. "Let's dance."

NORA
"EVACUATE! WE'RE BEING ATTACKED! " A guard yelled out. But it was too late. Chaos had ensued. Greens ran all over the place, our troops using fire to burn down their homes within the forest's great trees. A mother clutched a child as she was surrounded by three of our troops. I smiled as screams filled the air. Crisp bodies littered the village. The population was about eight hundred, so many. But the amount of casualties was nearing five hundred. The village guards used their powers and had Batlings at their command. Root whips emerged from the ground everywhere as my small team ran to the Great Tree, where the leader of the village resided. I signaled to Scar and he nodded in understanding. His eyes then glowed orange. Parts of the ground began to glow. Magma had formed, and troops from both sides screamed in pain as they burned. The whips disintegrated back into green energy. Scar, a couple of troops, and I then broke down the Great Tree's wooden doors. A glamorous wooden mansion awaited inside. An...empty one. "Pathetic. The royals hiding while they let their peasants die," Scar snickered. I scanned the room. There was a fine, green carpet made from the special fabric produced by the Leaf Elves. A fire place made of stone sat in the center, and handmade portraits of the royals were hung all over the wall. There was a flight of stairs going up so far, with countless rooms against the walls of the thick tree. "Hell no, I ain't walking up all that!" I said amusingly. "Let's do it the fun way!" Scar said with a smirk. I signaled the troops to follow our lead. I extended my arms downward and blasts of ice emerged. I then skated upwards on a path of ice. Scar was going up rapidly by raising the ground underneath him. Our troops figured it out fairly quickly. They blasted up using fire. I glanced up and realized how close we were to obtaining what was needed. Soon, my King...
