The Boy Next Door 2 // BTS JUNGKOOK & TWICE DAHYUN // DAHKOOK // BANGTWICE //

- Chapter 2 -

I couldn't believe it. I never thought I would go to Big Hit Entertainment again. Especially after debuting as a TWICE member.

When I arrived in the meeting room,  Bang PD was already there. So was JYP PD nim. I let out a deep breath to calm myself down, and then sat on an empty seat across the two men. I greeted Bang PD,

"It's nice meeting you again."

I then smiled gently.

Actually, it's wasn't a pleasure to meet him again, since this time, I was in 'trouble'.

"It's nice meeting you again too, Dahyun. I'm glad to see TWICE succeed remarkably these days." Bang PD replied.

We both smiled at each other, then JYP PD nim started chatting with Bang PD. That's when I wondered why they didn't start talking about the 'news'. But luckily, I was able to receive the answer soon enough.

The door of the meeting room opened, and a familiar person entered. Jeon Jungkook.

"Finally Jungkook, we've been waiting for you. Come in and take a seat." Bang PD said calmly.

As soon as Jungkook entered the room, I wasn't able to look at him because of how awkward it was. We've never talked to each other after temporarily 'breaking up' at highschool, when I was still a trainee. Whenever we bumped into each other during music awards or broadcasts, we simply bowed and treated each other like how we would to every other artist. We acted like nothing ever happened between us, since we weren't necessarily in a situation to mention it or bring it up.

Despite of how awkward I was feeling, Jungkook seemed quite comfortable. As soon as he came in the room, he sat right beside me, without hesitation.

"Since everyone's here, let's talk about news that's going around these days." JYP PD nim started the conversation.

I gulped as I was getting quite nervous.

"First of all, people are waiting for a response from both of our companies about this matter." Bang PD said.

"Yeah, I think we should talk about what we're gonna tell the reporters and netizens." JYP PD nim added.

Jungkook and I just simply nodded.

"Dahyun and Jungkook, what do you think we should tell the reporters about? We need your opinion since this is a matter about you two." Bang PD asked.

For the first time, Jungkook and I slowly made eye-contact, wondering what each of us wanted to talk about.

At that moment, I couldn't stop staring at him, and so did Jungkook. Everything felt effortless, warm and surprisingly comfortable. I've missed this feeling for so long, without even knowing it. The five second eye-contact felt like five minutes. But soon, our PD nims broke the moment by coughing gently. We both broke eye-contact and I felt my face heat up. I knew I was blushing, so I lowered my face a little.

"Wait." Bang PD looked confused.

"Are you guys still dating? I mean, it's okay to tell us the truth. We won't be mad about it." He continued talking and telling us that it was okay.

I quickly lifted my head and widened my eyes,

"Oh, no.. we're not dating."

I told him quickly before the misunderstanding expanded.

"Yeah, PD nim, we're not dating... Actually it's been a long time since we even looked at each other..." Jungkook spoke with a sorrowful voice.

Suddenly, both of the PDs laughed.

Jungkook and I looked at each other with confusion.

"Haha, I wish I can go back to my sweet twenties." JYP PD nim smiled.

"Yeah, same hyung. I miss the old days." Bang PD added onto JYP.

"I'm sorry guys. We just envy your youth." JYP apologized.

"and your love..." Bang PD whispered while leaning close to JYP.

I think he didn't purposely say that to let us hear it, but what he said was quite clear from where we were sitting. I couldn't help but blush, so lowered my head, again.

To be honest, I was quite surprised by how comfortable the two of the PD nims seemed, while we were discussing about quite a serious matter.

"You don't have to apologize sir." Jungkook replied to JYP PD nim.

As he was speaking, Jungkook's phone vibrated and a message notification popped on his screen. He excused everyone and checked the message.

"Sure, take you time Jungkook. We'll wait for you as we chat more about our youth." Bang PD smiled.

I slightly glanced at Jungkook since he was silent for quite a bit. Our PD nims were casually continuing their talk while they were waiting for Jungkook to be ready.

When I looked at him, his face seemed very serious.He was looking at an Instagram post, but he looked almost terrified, so I carefully asked him,

"Is everything alright?" I looked at him with a worried expression.

That caught the attention of both Bang PD and JYP PD nim.

Jungkook's eyes were still fixed on the screen for a few more seconds, but then he passed his phone to me. When I got the phone, an Instagram page was opened on the screen. I slowly took a look through the posts on the page. It was unbelievable. I was confused, shocked and startled by almost all of the stuff posted by the user.

I slowly turned my head to look at Jungkook. He seemed like he was trapped in his thoughts.

"Jungkook." I said, to catch his attention.

He came back to reality, and looked into my eyes.

"Is she your sasaeng?"
