"Father . . ."

"Father, I am in need of You,

Help me to understand the way You take me.

Give me strength, Father,

For my weakness try-eth to knock me down.

"Father, You know my heart,

And You know my request long before I ask it.

"Hear my cry Father,

Lead me away from such things which cause me wrong.

"Father, teach me and lead me in the path I am to go,

For Your leadership is everything and I lack nothing."
