Chapter 11

You wake up to the sunlight, which shines on your face through a tiny gap in the curtains. You turn around and look towards the other beds. The girls are still sleeping. You haven't heard them come in last night. You grab your phone on the cabinet next to you. '8am' you think. You put your phone away and close your eyes again. The next thing you know is you waking up from an afwul sound, an alarm clock. You look to your side. It is Zoë's phone. "Zoë" you murmer while you turn around. "Why would you put an alarm clock?" you say sleepy. "Because it is 10 am and, breakfast is from 9 am to 10:30 am, and we also have our activity around 11am" she says. You sit up straight. You hear a sleepy voice above you, it is Meghan; "How do you know?" "Because it is all in our programme book?" she says. "You're so prepared" you say. "Well, be happy, because otherwise you would've missed breakfast and the next activity. You laugh "Thanks." You have the programme book in your backpack and you make sure you will check it more often, You can't always rely on others. "So, we have 30 minutes to have breakfast?" Meghan asks. Zoë nodds. "Well, that is breakfast in a 'morning look' she says. She jumps out of the bed above you and puts on a big sweater and joggers. So are you and you put your hair into a messy bun.
You look into the mirror. You look very sleepy, so you splash some cold water into your face. The five of you walk out of the cabin, all in a pyjama, jogging look. You walk into the restaurant and grab some breakfast. You are having some cereal and apple juice. While you walk back you hear: "Well goodmorning sleepy head" from a known voice, you turn around and look into the eyes of Grayson.
You smile "Goodmorning" you say with a cracked voice. He laughs as well. "Did you just woke up?" You nodd. "I'll let you wake up a little much further" he says playfully with a cute smile as he walks further and you walk towards your table.
After breakfast you grab your shower stuff and walk towards the showers with Meghan. After a good shower, you put on your clothes and make-up and walk back towards you cabin. You look at your phone 11:15am. And you also see a text from Grayson:

Grayson: Where are you ? We have almost
                     started

You answer back immediately.

You: Sorry!! Omw
Grayson: Don't worry
Grayson: When we're having a break this
afternoon, can I please explain
myself about yesterday?
You: Yes, of course

"MEGHAN" you shout towards her "hurry up." The both of you walk quickly towards the lake, where everybody is gathered around in their mentor groups and are looking at you. "Ah there are the missing persons" you hear a voice trough a speaker. It is the camp leader. 'Great' you think. He is about to explain the activity. Around the lake are all kind of sport games and water activities. With your group, you have to do all the activities and earn points, and the best group gets 2 free drink cards per person. While you walk towards you group, you listen and arrive at your group. The camp leaders are standing all at their own activity, but every groups start with their mentor, which means you start with Grayson. "Okay ladies" he says, your mentor group only had girls, "are we ready?" He explains the activity it is a ball game against another group. James is the leader and stands also with this activity. You're very competitive and are really going for it and trying to get the ball. Your group wins and you earn all the points. You play 3 more games around the lake when it is break time. You grab a bottle of water and sit in the sand with Meghan. "Girl, I am broken" she says with a sigh. You laugh. "Where were you when I lost you last night?" Meghan asks. You look at her "What do you mean?" She looks at you. "Out of sudden you were gone. But Grayson came towards us asking where you went. And then Zoë told him she saw you going outside with Ethan, then Grayson grabbed his phone and left." She gives you a smirk. "No, Meghan, No! Ethan wanted to talk. Nothing more." "Sure?" she asks. "Yes, I promise" you say. "Good, because I think he's cute" she says. You start laughing. "Okay Meghan, good to know." "What about Grayson then?" she continues. "Meghan stop" you laugh and a smile comes up, so you look at the ground. "HA" she says "I knew it." You look at her "I did not even say
anything!" you respond. "No, but your face says it all." "No, just shut up" you answer with a smile. You feel a tap on your shoulder and turn around, Grayson. "Hey, can you come with me for a second?" he asks. "Yes, definitely." He smiles. You stand and wipe the sand of your butt and legs. You walk with him and look back over your shoulder, seeing Meghan face. She gives you a smirk, mixed with a confused face. You laugh in yourself and follow Grayson.
