4- The Denali's

Previously...
I had to hold on the wall to keep me standing. Visions make me dizzy and sometimes weak. Alice dropped the vase she was holding making everyone look at her. Jasper was quickly by her side. "What is it, Alice?" She looked at him. Esme and Carlisle got up. "The Volturi." She looked at us. "They're coming for us." We said together making them look at me. Carlisle came to my aid seeing my skin lose its color and my free hand holding my head while the other held the wall to keep my balance. "How do know?" Alice asked me.
Now...
They looked at me. I sighed. "I have visions just like you, Alice. But they make me weak. I don't know why. But back to business. What did Irina tell the Volturi to make them come after us?" I asked looking at them. "What did Irina saw in the woods?" Edward asked. "We were just walking" Izzy said and Jacob continued. "Ness was catching snowflakes." Edward started thinking. "Of course! Irina thinks Reneesme is an immortal child." Of course! How didn't I think of that before?! "Hey Angel. Come with me. Let's go do something."  I looked at Carlisle and went out with Ness while he explained to Bella about immortal children. We didn't want her to hear such horrible things.

The next day we went after witnesses, Carlisle's friends. We were packing our bags when Sam appeared outside. They went outside and I stayed inside with Angel. They talked and Sam gave Carlisle a letter of Alice telling us to gather as many witnesses as we could. Sam said that she and Jasper had left.

Me, Bella, Edward, Jake and Nessie went after the Denali's, the closest 'relatives'. I decided not to listen to the conversation outside and pay attention to Nessie. "Okay, time to meet new people." Bella said to Nessie, who retorted. "What if they don't like me?" Jake had an immediate response. "They'll love you.
"They will" Izzy agreed. "Once they understand you." I decided to join the conversation. "They just haven't met anyone like you before." Izzy sent me a grateful look and we got out of the car which caused a commotion. The Denali's gasped probably thinking Angel is an immortal child. They attacked Edward and Bells went to his rescue. "She has blood in her veins." Edward said. "You could feel her warmth" he continued. "I can feel it." Carmen said. "I'm her biological father. Bella is the mother." Eddie said and Kate retorted "Impossible!" Bells responded "It's true. She was born while I was still human"
"I've never heard of such a thing." Eleazar said.
"She can show you if you let her." Eddie stated and turned to us so we would go to them. I picked Angel up and we walked there. "Tanya you owe us this much. We're all under a death sentence because your sister didn't let us explain."
Tanya looked at Carmen who nodded at her. I got closer to them so Nessie could show Tanya her memories. When Angel went to touch her, she took a hesitant step back and Bells reassured her. "Don't be afraid. This is how she communicates." And Nessie used her powers. Tanya turned to her coven and whispered. "It's true" "She's not immortal." She said louder. They got closer and more comfortable after that.
We started talking with each other and I couldn't help but think of Carlisle. I don't know why but I can't get him off my mind. I'm just glad Edward can't read my thoughts.
