I woke up seeing Emma, my bff smiling at me.
-Thank fucking god you're okay- she said hugging me.

*Flashback*

We met in second grade, It was at recess. I was very lonely, but then found another brunette girl that was also lonely.
She has the most majestic green/grey-ish eyes, and long wavy hair. She was drawing when I came up to her.

-What are you drawing?-I asked
-A princess.-she said and moved her long hair to the side.
-Can I draw something too?-I asked shyly

She nodded and handed me her colors and a paper. I drew a black and blue-ish demon with red eyes.

Since that day we've been best friends.

She was always the girly one. She loved pink, and dresses, and makeup. I am more of a tomboy. I always wear long oversized sweatshirts with black tights, that was my THING.

-You need to pack your things, you're coming to my new place- she said
-wait, you have your own house??!- i said
-yea, supriseee! -she said while we burst into laughter

I took a shower and packed my things.
-The uber is here!- she said

In uber:
-wow, you have YOUR OWN APARTMENT- i said
-hahah yea, my parents let me move out earlier. -she said

We got to the apartment and I instantly sat on the cozy couch and took my favorite thing in the whole world (since I don't have a family anymore), my ukulele.
My guitar broke in the car, but i still have my uke.
I started playing a Billie Eilish song.

-you really never stop singing- emma said and started laughing
I smiled at her and kept singing the song.

- I need to find a job.- I said.
- Hey, a friend of mine opened a music store nearby, she said that she was looking for help.- Emma said
-That's perfect!- i said
