20- dudezone

I wondered around her apartment and it looked really cool, not really my style, but still cool.
Ava was making breakfast for me, since she "wasn't hungry" and I could see that something was bothering her.

-is something wrong baby?- i asked
-No, why would it be?- she chuckled and continued to make breakfast
-You haven't really been eating much, are you on some kind of a diet or something?-i raised my brow

-Hahah, no. I literally ate a whole pizza yesterday.- she said, and I could see that she was lying.
-Babe, you're worrying me. I know you're lying, you always do that thing with your hands.- I crossed my arms.
-Dude, I'm not lying, i promise.-She came to me and hugged my waist
-Okay, then.-i said with a sigh and sat down unlocking my phone.

Ava's POV
My phone buzzed; as I checked the notification, i had to take a double look.
James?
The guy that showed me apartments? He had my number, since we had to keep in contact due to the paperwork, he seemed like a nice guy though.

James
Hi, its James. This is Ava, right?

Ava
Hi James! Yes, it's me hahah

I tried to sound as comfortable as i could, but I didn't know why he would text me at 9am

James
So, I was thinking... would you like to go to lunch with me later? I'd love to get to know you better🙂

Oof.
I can't say no to people. I just can't. I mean, he seems like a nice guy, so why not?

Sure, how about 12:30?

James

Well, that was weird. I mean, I don't have much friends, so having another one would be fun. I guess

I remember my first friend. His name was Brandon. We met in kindergarten and we were friends for maybe a year, because he had to move to Canada. It was a pity, but I survived.

-You know you should really do something with your voice.- billie said, interrupting my thoughts

-Are you sure? I mean, I always loved to sing..-i said awkwardly playing with my fingers.
-Dude, i heard your voice, it's literally angelic- she gives me a warm smile that reminds me of the day we met.
-hey, don't dudezone me- i raised a brow and we both chuckled.

-anyways, I'm singing and having an interview with a radio station soon, you can come and sing with me!- she said
-Billie, that would be AWESOME- i exclaimed happily.

I haven't really thought about that thing in the morning. I'm sure it was all in my head, but it looked quite real. I just don't know how to feel about it.
