Monkey see monkey do
That's what they always say
Unless you're a stick in the mud
And are lazy all day
Don't waste your time
You've got nothing to lose
But that makes no sense
And now I'm confused
If your life's hard
Walk a mile in someone else's shoes
But I don't think you realize
It's the path you choose
So the whole
Monkey see monkey do
It's just a charade
It's what I wanna do
It's the card that I played
And don't get me started
On when life gives you lemons
It's much harder than that
They're not called squeeze em and sell em's
