How you Meet:

Simple, he wanted to prove to Stark that he could take care of a child so that's what he did.

Loki walked into the orphanage, clearing his throat to get the woman's attention "Excuse me ma'am." Loki said, the woman at the desk looked up at him startled "Oh yes, how may I help you?" The woman asked "I would like to adopt one of these mortal children." Loki said "Well go and take a look, come back when you're ready to sign the papers." The woman turned from Loki on her chair, as Loki walked to the area where the children sat.

Loki went over to a child that was sitting by themself in a corner, Loki noticed the child's shoulders shaking, as Loki neared the child, the child looked at him, tears streaming down their face "W-what d-do you w-want?" The child asked, Loki was taken aback by the child's sudden question. Yet Loki compossed his shock and kneeled next to the child "Are you alright Mortal child?" Loki asked softly "......" Silence was the child's response.

"Do you wish to come with me?" Loki asked the child, the child's red rimmed e/c eyes looked into Loki's green eyes "A-are you sure..?" The child asked "I'm sure." Loki replied, lifting the child into his usually cold arms, walking to the desk "I see you like her?" The woman at the desk asked, leaning on the desk, Loki chuckled slightly "Well, yes. Of course." Loki replied nervously "Hehe, good luck dear." The woman slides the papers to Loki, as he sat the child on the desk, signing the papers.

You can talk and walk, you just chose not to talk, as your usually mute, so you use sign language, and knowing Loki, he took the time to learn it and even forced the rest of the team to learn it as well. Well, not Thor, he apparently already knew sign language, who taught him I wonder
