ᴘᴀᴛʜᴡᴀʏ 43 | ɪᴢᴜᴋᴜ ᴍɪᴅᴏʀɪʏᴀ

Chapter 1

There are 3 main Guardians within the world's borders, all trapped and enslaved for being protectors of the earth; powerful and unknown to mankind. They were feared for their intentions, regardless of whatever proof could be provided. So one day, Chiefs from nearby nations had called upon one another in order to seal the beasts away whom now currently lie in 3 different dimensions, controlled and kept track of by the now known government.

This left the main three Guardians unaware with what was going on around them since they never aged, nor did the environment change. Unusually though, they seemed to grow and lose the majority of their intelligence, causing speaking dialects and childish behaviour. Therefore, all three Guardians remain trapped, suspicious to the world growing around them, as well as their physical bodies themselves.

Things began to take a dark turn when people had mentioned them once again, causing the government to retreat to violence in order to keep their power, rein, and control over their land. They had to prove them wrong. They weren't our powerful saviours, no, they were murderers, killers, monsters.
They threw unsuspecting victims into the pit, especially innocent people, whom were taken to either three of the guardians, supposedly ready to face their doom.

And they did.

With communication lines back up, the best idea was to feed their main victim, their new killer, a vaccination which caused all three to develop these side effects, making large growth spurts occur as well as changing their mind to believe whatever the government wanted. This caused the guardians to get into a state of outrage, killing any sort of human life form that enters their domain.

And ever since, they still remain there to do this day, killing prisoners, scaring families, eating innocent people, just for what they believe is justice. In short sense, it was a great mechanism to make the world cower in fear as well as obey them. Otherwise, they'd face what is now known as the "Shrine Of Death."

"Look, no matter how many times you tell me this, I'm telling you that I'm not afraid of the Shrine Of Death! I've done nothing wrong, so surely the monsters won't hurt me!" Ochaco grinned, her baby tooth currently in her hand after falling out moments ago.
"But what if someone you know gets sent there?"
"I'll save them of course... why wouldn't I?" She questioned her amphibian like companion; Her muddy brown hair bounced on her shoulders as she stared at the frog like creature.

"Don't worry about it, just put that tooth away.."
"On it!" She quickly pushed her small form off the ground, trekking towards a bare room in the spacious environment, placing in on a table placed in the middle. She hastily ran back, her shoeless feet dusted the already cracked floor.

"How about we welcome my parents home for once? They should be coming home sooner than later, and I don't wanna miss getting the first hug!" She announced, placing her hands on her hips.
"You're too excited for this Uraraka-san." Tsuyu croaked, scratching her dark green hair.

As the day progressed, they both talked outside, staring at the sunset. The burst of pinkish, yet rich red and orange flames, illuminated the sky, causing more of a calming feel than it felt like it was intended to. "It's so pretty.." She gawked, smiling effortlessly at the sight revealed to her.
"Yeah.." Asui frowned, turning her head away as her bangs covered her eyes, causing a guilty aura to emit around her.

It was as if on cue, blood curling screams could be heard exploding from streets nearby, causing the young girls to shiver in fear. "We have to take cover!" The girl spat, trying to drag her bewildered friend inside, "But, Tsu--!" She was soon cut off by more screams that seemed to near the pair.
"What's going on...?" She trembled, hugging the amphibian from utter fear.
"It's another victim search--"
