Not Just a Pet (1D)

Chapter 9

<Ryan's POV>

When we got to the forest we heard howling.

"That must be-" Zayn started but I cover his mouth with my hand before he could finish. I shushed him.

We slowly walked through the forest. Then we heard a scream. We ran towards it. We came to a clearing with some laying on the ground. Electricity was flowing from round things on the ground to form a dome around the person. That person was Raven.

"We have to save her," I said.

"The trap caught one!" we heard some one yell from a distance. Liam ran over and pulled one of the round things out of the ground, making the dome go away. We all ran over to Raven. Liam picked her up and we ran away. We hid right as a group of people burst through the bushes.

"The alarm went off right here," the guy we hear before said.

"Well some one was here," another said picking up the orb thing that Liam pulled out of the ground.

"How'd it get away?" another asked.

"Maybe it had help," the first one said.

"It couldn't have gotten far," the second one said. "Let's scout out." They all walked different ways away from us.

"Let's get out of here," Niall whispered. We all stood up and quickly left.
