Chapter Two (Staying)

Cross' Pov

Nightmare entered the portal, stepping a side for Cross to follow him in. The monochrome skeleton hesitantly stepped in, noticing the demon child besides him "Are we really gonna leave?" Cross nodded in response as Nightmare closed the portal behind him.

The prince's face was in such a disbelief "How the fuck is it already midnight?" He cussed but shrugged it off "Let's head inside" Nightmare grabbed Cross' hand then teleported.

They teleported to what looks like a room. There was a king size bed with bed side table. Lots of book shelves filled with many books of spells. There was a carpet with a crescent design, curtains on the windows (also had crescent designs on them), wardrobes and cabinets. Your typical room. Although the room has a portrait above the bed. There stood a lady with two skeletons underneath a tree.

Nightmare sat down on the bed with half lidded eyes "You're already tired?" The prince turned to Cross with narrowed eyes "No shit sherlock," Nightmare rolled his eyelids 'This guy's something' Cross thought "I need rest and so do you" 

The monochrome skeleton rolled his pupils back "Do you have like an extra room i could stay in or?" He trailed off, waiting for Nightmares response before deciding. Nightmare stayed silent, thinking this through.

"We might have to share the bed" Cross' boney cheeks warmed up "Y'know i could always sleep on the floor" he states knowing all to well that sleeping on the floor won't be any problem considering he's been sleeping on the cold, solid and very uncomfortable tile for the past few...months.

Nightmare looked at him with insistent "No, i can't do that. You're a guest after all," he exclaimed "You can sleep with me on the bed" Nightmare patted the bed signing Cross to come over and sit beside him.

Cross looked at him with half lidded eyes "If you don't mind" Nightmare gave him a small smile as Cross made his way to sit beside Nightmare. 

Chara floated beside him, examining Nightmare.

The prince walked up to a drawer, trying to find some clothes. Once he got his clothes and his towel he stood a pause just before the door to the bathroom. He glanced up at Cross "I got to go change" the monochrome skeleton nodded as Nightmare opened the door to the bathroom to change and locking it behind him.

"Wait, are you blushing" the demon child snickered making Cross turn to him "The fuck man? I just met the guy," Chara din't believe him "Plus, he's my boss. I can't like him"

Chara narrowed his eyes "Why not?", "How would i know?" Cross let out a groaned. He looked back at the bathroom door to see Nightmare come out without his shirt on. The monochrome skeleton blushed a hue of purple as he and the prince locked eyes. Nightmare narrowed his eyes "Sorry, i left my shirt" he explained walking up to the drawer and getting a shirt then putting it on. "No, its fine" Cross turned away trying to hide his blush.

The demon child smirked "Welp i'm leaving you to alone" Cross rolled his pupils as he notices the bed shifting turning to see Nightmare sitting on the bed "Let's get some sleep then i can get you a room tomorrow" he states, tucking his self on the bed as Cross got him self tucked beside him "Sweet nightmares" he turned off the light. Minuets later as Cross felt him self drifting in a peaceful slumber.

Cross' Dream

Cross sat beneath a tree with Nightmare, laying peacefully in his lap. The tree had a flag that has a golden apple in the middle. The tree also produces golden apples and dark apples. Nightmare looked up at Cross, fiddling with his boney hands "Cross do you love me?" 

The prince waited for a response "Well, of course i do" Cross looked down at him with a smile "Do you love me?" He asked.

Nightmare sat up, not breaking their locked eyes. He reached up to caress Cross' boney cheeks then gave him a peck on the lips (Just go with it) The prince took the monochrome skeleton's hand with his other one "I love you too" he said, his eyes full of love and sincere. 

Cross let a tear dropped from his eye sockets. 'So this is what it takes for me to be loved?' They both leaned up at the tree watching the sunset 'I'll never let anyone hurt you'

Nightmare's Pov

Nightmare woke up with a headache, rubbing his eye sockets noticed someone beside me "Oh.." He remembered Cross was here 'he's actually really cute' he gently pocked  Cross' boney cheek. The monochrome skeleton hummed 'shit his waking up' 

Cross sat up, making Nightmare stumbled back, falling harshly on the floor. Nightmare hissed "Eh? Sorry Night, I thought you were still asleep" the prince stood up "No, its fine" he reassured, Cross let out a hand for Nightmare to take. The prince gladly took Cross' hand, needlessly wanting help.

Look sorry this will took longer to re-write that i expected. I re-written this like 3 times cuz my phones keep fucking closing and just deleting my update. Sorry if this is short, like i said i'm just updating the story to be more understandable but its all the same, kay?

Oh and umm idk if Chara's a girl or a boy but i'm just gonna go with boy cuz...yeah
