Ch.4 Crying

Nayeon's POV
After Jeongyeon left with the others and Chae dragged Mina with her, i walked off around the area trying to clear my mind. I walked into a cafe when i saw Mina and Chae sitting there. Chaeyoung was smiling like a little kid after seeing a magic trick but Mina was blushing like always when it came to Chaeyoung. It was actually kind of cute. They stood up and I left before they could see me.

I started to walk back to the dorm. As soon as i walked in I saw Jeongyeon and Momo on the couch, cuddling while watching a movie. Tzuyu was sitting on the floor and Sana was next to her, with her head laying on Tzuyu's shoulder. I looked back at the 2 sitting on the couch and my heart started to ache. 'She still doesn't remember me..' and with that i left the dorm once again. I just kept walking and walking. I honestly dont care if i get lost, 'its not like Jeongyoung would notice or even care'

It was starting to get late. I was about to go back to the dorm when i saw Mina sitting on the swing by herself. It looked like she was crying. I walked towards her and called out her name, "Mina?" She turned around and smiled even though she was still crying. "N-Nayeonie.. what are you doing out so late?" She tried wiping her tears away. I walked over, kneeling down in front of her, as she was still sitting and wiped her tears away. "What happened Mina?" I asked, moving a strand of hair behind her ear.

She buried her face into her hands, crying harder, "I-I am such an idiot unnie... I told C-Chae that i liked her b-but she acted like it was nothing.. I am so stupid!" I sighed softly. "Mina," I gently took her hands away from her face and made her look at me, "I know it might seem like it was pointless but trust me... it was better to tell her than keep it a secret for your whole life. She likes you too-" i was cut off, "Then why did she act like nothing happened?" "It was probably too much for her to process. Just give her time okay?" I put a hand on her cheek and kissed her forehead, "Now, no more crying okay?" She nodded and wiped the remaining tears away. "Thank you unnie.." she smiled softly and hugged me.

She let go of me and stood up, "Let's go home, the others might be worried." She smiled. I nodded and started walking slowly, waiting for her. "Ne, Mina, do you think Jeongyeon likes Momo?" I hesitantly asked. She stopped walking and looked at me, "What do you think? Before the incident she was head over heels for you, everyone could tell. I mean come on 2yeaon is really cute. As Once calls you, 'the parents'. Now that she can't exactly remember much she is clinging to the one person she remembers the most, which is Momo. I'm sure thats it." She said calmly, walking again. I sighed a little and caught up to her, grabbing her hand and holding it in the process. "E-eh? W-what are you doing?" She stuttered. I grinned, showing off my bunny teeth, "Your hands looked cold!" I intertwined our fingers and continued walking.

It took us about half an hour to get back to the dorm because we stopped at a store to get some ice cream for everyone and ketchup for Mina. When we walked in we were still holding hands she we earned some questioning looks from our other members.

"We've got ice cream!" I held up the bag, smiling. Just as everyone was about to run and grab their favourite flavours the front door swung open, revealing a tired looking Chae. She looked at Mina, then at our hands. Mina immediately let go but it was too late, the pain was visible in Chaeyoung's eyes. She just ran to her room and locked it. "So... what happened now?" Jihyo asked, gesturing for us to sit down.

I grabbed the bag of ice cream and sat down between Dahyun, who was staring at Momo, who was leaning on my Jeongyeon and Tzuyu, meanwhile Mina sat next to Sana and Jeongyeon. Everyone grabbed their own pint of ice cream. We sat there for a while, eating in silence before Jihyo asked again, "So are you guys going to tell us what happened?" I looked over at Mina, who had her head down, not looking at at anyone. I cleared my throat and spoke up, "So basically um.. Mina told Chae that she had feelings for her but Chae pushed it aside. Then i saw Mina at the park by herself so i wanted to cheer her up.." "So are you and Mina together? You've been extremely close, yknow?" Jeongyeon said rather harshly. "No! Just because i was holding her hand doesn't mean i want to date her! Just like how when we used to hold hands it never meant that i wanted to date you! And just because we seemed close back then it doesn't mean i ever had feelings for you YOO JEONGYEON!" All my anger and sadness just rushed out. I calmed down a little but it was too late as i basically screamed my head off at her. "I'm going to check up on Chae." She said softly, before standing up and leaving.

I sighed deeply and ran a hand through my hair in frustration, "I'm sorry guys, i... i dont know what happened it just all came out." I apologised. Dahyun rubbed my back gently and smiled at me. She hasn't been talking as much lately.

Jeongyeon's POV
"I'm going to check up on Chae." I said as i stood up and walked to her room. 'What the fuck was her problem?' I asked myself. "Just because we seemed close back then it doesn't mean i had feelings for you Yoo Jeongyeon." Her words kept replying over and over in my mind. 'We were close back then? How close? Why did it hurt to see her holding hands with Mina? Why does every part of my mind and body want to grab ahold of her and never let her go? Who was she to me? Why did she make me feel this way?' I kept asking myself questions about our past before i realised i was just standing outside Chaeyoung's door, staring at it.

I raise a hand up and knocked on the wooden door. "Go away." A cracking voice said from the other side of the door. "Chae it's me. Can i come it?" There was no answer so i just walked in, seeing her curled up on her bed, her head buried in her knees and arms wrapped around her legs. I closed the door and locked it behind me and walked over to her. "Now now dont cry." I pat her head and smiled. "Yah come on!" I opened my arms and she wrapped hers around me instantly, pulling me closer to her. I hugged her back, playing with her short hair a little. "It's okay little cub.. dont cry because of Mina." She didn't say anything so i kept talking. "She really likes you, you know? You can tell by the way she looks at you... well more like stares at you." She laughed a little but still said nothing, "I've seen the videos Chae. How Michaeng is real and stuff. I've seen the way you guy stare at each other! ...oh and how you sniffed her shoulder.. um that was kinda weird." I chuckled, earning a soft hit on the chest from her. I continued playing with her hair and we stayed like that in comfortable silence.

After a while i spoke up, "Chae?" I heard a softly snore, causing me to smile at how cute it was. I laid her down on her bed and tucked her in. "Goodnight.." i left the room and saw that everyone expect for Nayeon and Mina had left the living room and had gone back to their own rooms.

The 2 were outside on the veranda, wrapped in blankets. Nayeon had her head on Mina's shoulder meanwhile Mina had her hand on Nayeon's thigh. I started feeling strange. Angry almost. 'What was she doing to me?' I clenched my fists and left, going to Momo and Dahyun's room. "Hey." I said as i walked in. I choked a little when i saw Dahyun sitting on top on Momo's stomach. They looked at me and Dahyun fell off he bed in surprise, "J-jeongyeon!" Momo exlaimed. I just slowly backed to the door and said awkwardly, "You do you.. or each other I'm gonna go.." and with that i slammed the door shut and ran out.

My face was bright red after seeing the 2 on top of each other, they might of just been playing around or they might have been.. doing something a little less innocent. "Yah those 2 idiots.." I groaned.

I walked into the room Nayeon and I shared. Its been a while since I've slept in my own bed, I've been sleeping on the couch for the past few days since things were awkward between Nayeon and I. I must admit i would much prefer a proper bed but since things have only gotten worse between us so i guess I'll just have to stay on the couch for a while longer.

I got in the bathroom and took my clothes off, throwing them in the corner. I got in the shower and let the water run down my body. My place kept going to a place I didn't want it to go. 'Why do i keep thinking about her?' I sighed and finishing washing up. I wrapped a towel around my body, drying myself up. 'Ah shoot i forgot to get some clean clothes.' I opened the bathroom door and walked out only to see...

Alright that was today's chapter. I was supposed to update every 2 days but school and stuff so yeah I'm lagging behind a little, just a little.

Also guys can you tell me some of the other ships? Like i said in my first chapter i am quite new to the Twice fandom. I have been trying to do some research but it just ends up with me watching Gay Twice moments on YouTube. Can someone please tell me who is bottom and who is top? I kinda... yeah... i kinda need it for future chapters that might involve smut. ;)
