[Reader's POV]
"IF I SEE YOU IN MY HOUSE ONE MORE TIME-"
"You'll forgive us and let us stay?" Jungkook asked causing me to groan out of frustration. "Okay, we know we came uninvited-"
"THEN LEAVE!" I yell causing Jae to giggle along with the two other ghosts who decided to join him. "Why is it always my house you come to? Why can't it be like, Jimin's or Namjoon's? AND YOU'RE ALWAYS HERE WHEN I"M MY MOST VULNERABLE!" I argue.
Hoseok pursed his lips. "You were only in the shower." He mumbled.
I walked up close to his face, adjusting my towel that hung around my body. "You're lucky you're already dead," Hoseok's face contorts into a scared one. "Now, please leave. All of you? I have to get ready for the day." I start to walk back to my room before Jin spoke up.
"Why don't we help you? We'll watch Jae while you take a shower and help you around the house!" He offered.
"I'm not going to be home, I have to get my phone fixed. But you guys are more than willing to watch Jae while I shower." I smiled towards them before leaving to finish my shower.
Jin held a determined look on his face but I could do everything but believe him. I know he's going to be knocking on the bathroom door in about thirty minutes asking for help because he doesn't know how to take care of a child.
Not even ten minutes after I got in the shower I heard a knock at the bathroom door. "Go away Jin." I yell but hear a chuckle come from the other side of the door before it opened.
"I'm not Jin, I'm your husband. Oh and I have coffee too." I peak my head out of the shower curtain and smile. "Why are they here?" He asked with a chuckle while I rolled my eyes.
"Don't ask me, they let themselves in while I was in the shower claiming I needed help through the day when I really don't. I knew you were going to be back in time to watch Jae while I got my phone fixed." I closed the curtain and continued to shower while talking to Taehyung.
"I thought you went and got it fixed yesterday?" He asked.
"I got too distracted by Ruby and ran out of time. Besides Jimin didn't really want to venture out into the city just for a phone." I explained reaching out and grabbing the towel I had around me earlier.
I grab the coffee Taehyung had set on the counter, taking a sip before sighing. "That good huh?" I nodded my head, having it already be a long and stressful day due to the three intruders. "Well, while you get dried off and dressed I'll go visit with the boys." Taehyung leaned over and kissed my forehead before taking his leave.
After getting dressed I go over to my bedside table and grab my sad excuse of a phone from the drawer. I sigh. "All over someone who took one life then his own, tragic." I mumbled to myself as I slipped it into my back pocket.
When I walk out into the living room I come face to face with three ghosts being lectured on the couch, by an angry looking Taehyung who had Jae hooked on his hips.
"What happened?" I asked.
The three ghosts pointed fingers at one another. "He did it!" They yelled in unison.
Taehyung turned around and sighed. "They were seeing which one could hold Jae up in the air the longest with their 'ghostly power'." Taehyung explained.
I placed my hands on my hips while an angry looked placed itself on my face. "What have I said in the past about that? No making things float in the house, especially if its my son!"
"You told us we couldn't do it on you anymore!" Hoseok argued.
"Yeah and you never said anything about not being able to do it to Jae!" Jungkook defends.
I look over to Jin who shrugged his shoulders. "I mean they both have a point-"
"Aren't you supposed to be the older, smart ghost who tells the younger ones what's right and wrong?" Taehyung asked seemingly annoyed at Jin's lack of conversation throughout this whole experience.
The three of them are quiet for a bit before they hung their heads low. "We're sorry." They say. Taehyung set Jae down on the floor and nudged him towards the pile of toys he had in the corner.
"It's fine, I'll come Namjoon and ask for him to come over to watch Jae while we go get Y/n a new phone." Taehyung grabbed his coat off of the rack and slung it over his body. "Just wait for Namjoon to come over? Please?"
You could tell Taehyung wasn't very happy with the three of them judging by his firm tone towards them. I don't blame him though. The last time they tried that stunt it was on me, and let's just say it ended with a cast.
When we got into the car Taehyung pulled his phone out to, I assume, text Namjoon and letting him know the situation. I reach over and intertwine both of our hands together, causing him to look over and smile.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too, love. Forever and always. Even when we die and come back as ghosts, I'll always love you." I said causing him to laugh.
We sit like that for a bit longer, smiling and cracking a joke every once in a while before Taehyung sped off, our hands still intertwined.
