[Reader's POV]
The day where Taehyung was leaving finally came, the three of us waking up at the butt crack of dawn to drive to the seemingly busy airport. Although the three of us were present, only two of us were here mentally.
Taehyung, was passed the fuck out next to Jae and I.
"Is daddy ever going to wake up?" Jae asked poking Taehyung's thigh, causing it to twitch.
"I don't know Jae, but if he doesn't wake up soon he's going to miss his flight," A part of me was hoping he would miss his flight entirely and end up staying another month but, if I don't wake up I'm sure he's going to be upset with me. "Try plugging his nose, maybe he'll wake up."
Jae giggles before leaning over and clamping his fingers over Taehyung's nose. Taehyung's eyes shoot open out of shock as his hand grabs onto Jae's wrist. "Were you trying to kill me?!" He said making Jae laugh and shake his head.
"Mommy told me to do it to wake you up!" He exclaimed. Taehyung turned to me as I raised my hands up in defense.
"You had to catch your flight and you would't be as mad at Jae as you would be me for waking you."
Taehyung plastered on a small smile, knowing I was right. "It still would've been nice to continue sleeping, maybe I would've missed my flight." He chuckled.
I turned my smile into one of sadness. It was upsetting Taehyung was leaving but it was something he had to do and Taehyung knew that. He just didn't want to admit it.
"Flight 3245 to Chicago, Illinois is now boarding. I repeat, flight 3245 to Chicago, Illinois is now boarding."
The three of us stand from our spots while Taehyung grabbed his carry on from underneath the chair. "Go give daddy a big hug and kiss," I said to Jae.
Taehyung lifted Jae into his arms, the small boys arms wrapping around Taehyung's neck. "Bye daddy." He whispered in his ear. You could tell from a mile away this was hard.
For all of us.
Taehyung kissed his dark hair before setting him down. "Bye buddy," He whispered back. Jae sat back down to let Taehyung and I say our goodbyes.
"I'll call you with every chance I get, like always. I'll update you on everything," He said with his hands in mine.
"And if you ever miss me, call me. Not Namjoon," I joke making both of us laugh. We stare at each other for a bit longer before Taehyung brought me into his arms. "I love you, so much."
Taehyung soothes the hair on the back of my head. "I love you too, just as much. Always have and always will." He said.
Both of us back away from the hug to let our lips connect as a final goodbye. It was like this everytime he left and I'm sure it won't be the last time.
The kiss ended shortly after it started, Taehyung giving both Jae and I one final hug before running to his gate.
"When will daddy be back?" Jae asked as we watched Taehyung board the plane.
I sigh. "I have no idea, love."
**
Jae and I make it home after watching the plane take off and eating lunch. Luckily for me Jae had fallen asleep while on the way home, leaving me alone to think about how the next month or two will be.
I'm sure it's going to be like the other ones have been. But for some reason I have a strange feeling about this one.
As soon as my butt had hit the sofa, the door flew open. A panting Yoongi on the other side. "Yoongi?" I asked, shocked to see him out of all people here.
"Have you seen Jimin? Please say he's here," He frantically spoke but I shook my head. "God dammit!"
"Hey hey, calm down. What's going on?" I asked, ushering him towards the sofa where it would be more appropriate to talk.
"Jimin and I argued last night, it was stupid if I'm being honest. He said he was going to go get some fresh air but he never came home," He explained. "I never went looking for him because I assumed he came here for the night and would be back by morning. Unfortunately I was wrong."
I patted Yoongi's back. "I'm sure he's with Namjoon, I'll give him a call and ask him if he has seen him. Sound like a plan?" Yoongi nodded.
"What if he isn't there?"
"Then we can go to the police but we have to reach everyone we know first." Yoongi nodded once more. "If you don't mind me asking, what did you to argue about that got Jimin so riled up? Usually he doesn't leave."
Yoongi leaned back on the sofa with a sigh. "Jimin came to me the other day with the idea to start a family, more so adopt. I told him to get back to me in a day or two when I thought about it," He said.
"Well? What did you say?"
"I told him we weren't ready. I want to be able to move into a big enough home for us to raise kids, besides neither of us are ever home and it wouldn't be fair to leave them with a babysitter their entire lives," Yoongi had a point. "I guess Jimin didn't like that and we began to argue. He said we were ready but I disagreed. The rest you know."
I leaned back to copy Yoongi's position. "That's kind of how mine and Taehyung's conversation went. He wanted a kid and I told him I wasn't ready. Well, few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. Funny how the world turns that way." I said making the both of us laugh.
"He'll come around Yoongi, I promise you. He loves you too much not to." I reassure Yoongi who nodded his head.
"Only god would know at this point."
