[Reader's POV]

After mine and Maehi's I guess what you could call, 'bonding moment' we decided to sit out butts down on the sofa and watch a movie to brighten our moods. So far it had been working.

Although our moods had increased from a few hours ago, I was still in quite a bit of shock at the sudden news. I never knew Maehi knew Hyungook, he never talked about any other girls he dated in the past.

If I were still his girlfriend I wouldn't want to talk about it, now I'm not so sure. It makes me curious how many other girls he had gotten with and how many other people he had hurt or in this case, murdered.

"Are you okay Y/n?" I come out of my dazed state to notice that the movie had been paused and Maehi was calling my name for who know's how long.

"Yeah just thinking about our conversation earlier is all, nothing to worry about." I reassure her with a smile, but Maehi just frowned.

"If you want to talk about it again we can, it might be a touchy subject now but it won't hurt to talk about it either." She said. I sigh and shrug.

"I'm just curious as to how many other girls he had been with and hurt between you and I," I say, readjusting myself so I was now facing her. "There are plenty of unsolved murders and who knows how many of those are Hyungook's."

Maehi placed her folded hands in her lap. "I'm not sure either and quite frankly I don't want to," She mumbled. "But I think this is a situation where we should let it go, not let it bother us anymore. It's such a hard topic that it'll only hurt us even more than it should."

I locked eyes with her and nodded. Maehi was right, if we keep letting it bother us it'll only get under our skin and bother us for a long time and as of right now Hyungook is the last person I want to think of.

"We're home!" Taehyung yelled as he opened the door with Jae by his side and bags of food in his hand. "And we brought food." Maehi and I stand from our spots on the sofa to help him. "How was everything?" He asked.

Maehi and I look at each other with a smile. "It was good, we had a nice talk and a nice breakfast all together." Maehi said, Taehyung's face replicating ours.

"Well I'm glad, now why don't we all sit down and have some lunch shall we?"

Taehyung, Maehi, Jae and I all sat at our small dining table eating the food Taehyung so graciously brought for us. Sitting here with everyone gathered around the table felt so domestic, it felt homey I guess you could say.

After we ate our food we all said goodbye to Maehi and wished her the best on her long journey back home. I shut the door and set Jae down on the ground to let him do his thing while I joined Taehyung on the sofa.

"How was Namjoon's?" I asked leaning my head down onto his shoulder.

"It was fine, we just discussed what time my flight leaves and where we're going to be shooting in America, kinda finalizing things before I leave next week." Next week. It hadn't even felt like a whole month and Taehyung was already making plans to leave already.

I didn't think the date would be so close for him to leave, sadly it was.

"What did you and Maehi talk about?" He asked.

"We just talked about our past I guess," It was a partial lie but I wasn't planning on telling Taehyung about what we talked about, that should be Maehi's job. Although he might know they dated back then, I'm just not sure if he knew what it was like in Maehi's point of view.

Taehyung leaned his head down onto mine, sighing. "I'm glad you bonded with her though, do you feel like the two of you are closer?" I chuckled.

"I do. I wish we talked earlier, I wish I got her number at our wedding when I had the chance. I just never knew how to approach her." I admit.

"I can see that, not a lot of people know how to approach her. She's already such a shy, awkward person and I don't think people know how to handle that." He explained. I couldn't see why Maehi was shy when her brother is the exact opposite.

Talking with Maehi was something I wish I had done awhile ago, and I'm sure she felt the same way. It's kind of odd how the world turns, how she dated Hyungook and how he so conveniently ended up moving next door to me. How we ended up dating and in the end, finding out he killed the one person I truly loved.

Life is strange sometimes.

"Will you be okay while I'm gone? I know this isn't any different from the other times I've left but this time just feels different." I look up to Taehyung and smile.

"I'm not sure if I will be, but I can get through it just like I have the other times."

Taehyung just smiles, leaning in and connecting our lips together.
