i flushed the toilet, and walked over to the sink to wash my hands. leaving the girls toilets, i flick my hands and dry them in the cold winter air.

the ice had definitely melted, so people were able to go home.

but, surprisingly, none of us wanted to leave.

"what if we hung out like this, everyday" peter speaks up, and there are multiple hums of agreement.

"that would be so fun" ethan says, as he looks over at alyssa.

"who free next saturday?" i ask, and everyone raises their hand.

"cool, we can all hang out at my place, my mom will be fine with it" i say, and alyssa places a hand on my shoulder.

"yeah, her moms chill, but, we could go out and do something actually fun instead!" she suggests, and i furrow my brows.

why would she kill my plans?

oh well, i shrug it off, and focus back on the conversation.

"i don't know, i just wanna chill out at the weekend" grayson says, whilst josh and peter hum in agreement.

"ethan? you wanna go out with me?" alyssa asks, with her lips in a tight line.

"i-uhhh, sure?" he replies, and she replaces her tight look with a smug smile.

"perfect" she smiles sweetly at him, sickly sweet at him, i mean.

"well, okay. it's just be us four at my house on saturday. i'll give you guys the address and everything when we're ready to leave school" i say, and they all nod.

ethan's pov

"i-uhhh, sure?" i reply, almost surprised because of what came out of my mouth. but i immediately regretted it when she hugged me tight and forced a smile on her lips.

damn it, i really wanted to hang out with the rest of them.
