Chapter 5

Natsu got to the library that the witch had said. It was basically empty; the only person in it was the person at the front desk.
"Hello sir, how can I help you?" The man said with a scratch in his throat.
"Hey. Do you have any books on spells?" Natsu asked.
"Certainly! What kind of spell?"
"Well...it's...i-it's an interesting spell..." Natsu chuckled

He explained to the librarian what the spell was capable of, and he looked at Natsu bewildered.
"Wow, that sounds like a Milena Wilthrou spell!" The librarian then took Natsu's hand and led him to a back room, where a small bookshelf was littered with scrolls and huge books.
The man scrolled through the books, until he pulled out a dark green book and handed it to Natsu.
"I believe this is what you want. If you have anymore questions, come back to the front desk." And then the man walked away. Natsu shrugged and put the book down, looking through the pages. There was many different spells that he could see, but after many pages, he found the one he was looking for.

January 20, X686;

The 6th experiment. It worked. This spell is able to do as I please. He can be mine now...all mine! If he won't sleep with me drunk, then this spell should do it! All it takes is one time! My test subject can't even remember what had happened. it's basically like being drunk, so it's not like I'll be blamed.

First experiment died...she was not able to reach her climax. To ensure that this works, the test needs-////////////////////

First testing on humans. Hopefully this works. It took 6 months to have it work on rats, so hopefully it goes good for humans...I won't try it on him till it's ready..

Natsu flipped to the back of the page, only to find the rest of the pages torn out.
'So...the spell can kill you??'
He looked back at the dates
'This is only three days after she first started the experiment..'
Once Natsu realized this, he sprung up; clutching the book to his side as he dared to the front door.
"I'll return your boooooooook" Natsu said, getting further away from the building.

He sprinted the entire way through Magnolia, down the street, through the alleyways; all until he barged through the guilds doors. He went into the library, where he immediately saw Lucy and Levy looking up at him, surprised.
"H-hello?" Lucy asked.

Natsu walked up to Levy and handed her the book. He opened to the page and made her read it. Once she did, her face turned red, and she looked up nervously.
"I-I'll just...leave you two alone!" She said quickly, before exiting the guilds library.
"what's in the book?" Lucy asked, taking the book from Natsu.

   She looked and read the pages, and then looked up at Natsu with a blush on her face.
"S-So...is this saying that..I'm going to die?" She said softly.
"No! I-I mean...gah!" Natsu sighed, frustrated. He covered his face with his hands. Lucy looked remorseful at her friend. She knew that this was killing him as much as it was actually killing her.
"Well..then I guess I'm going to have to get laid tonight.." she sighed.

  Natsu looked up at her, surprised.
"Y-you're going to go through with it??what if..what if it doesn't work! Or, if you don't need to at all! Or-"
"Natsu..I don't really have a choice, do I? I was waiting to do 'this' for a while now, and now I have a reason to..." she tried to make the topic lighter, but all it did was make him more tense.
"It's all my fault..I shouldn't have chosen that job.."he said softly.
"Natsu..it's no one's fault...she needed to be caught, no matter the cost.." Lucy put her hand on his shoulder, "it's fine, I'm okay with doing this.."

"So, are you just going to do it with some random person?" His voice quivered with sadness. He didn't want her to sleep with anyone...
"I'm going to go to my place, and figure it out by then.." she handed him back the book, and turned, walking out of the room, and leaving Natsu clutching onto the book.
