Yeah. She is basically Sans, but with some twists.
Her parents were killed in the undergrounds before Gaster found her. Emily was 2 at the time whole Papyrus was just a new born. Gaster took her in and (to his displeasure) had to give her monster magic to put her under radar for a few years.
Emily quickly grew up thinking she was just like Papyrus and Gaster... until the age of 10 when 12 year old Undyne nearly killed her. Undyne's parents apologized to Gaster but Emily never went near Undybe (until she was at least 21 years old).
Emily was use to monsters saying something about killing her (which is sad) but just brushes it off.
She actually doesn't want to go to the surface since so many monsters think she's evil, so what would a full human be like?
