You sat in the small cell while you could hear chatter. You figured they would want you to fight Betty. You're older, stronger, and had the same soul trait. You saw Gaster walk in and sit in a chair nearby. "Am I fighting Betty?" You asked. "Why else would we keep you alive?" Gaster replied.

You slowly nodded and sighed. You noticed Gaster starting to work. "So. How do you have a fear soul? I thought it was only achievable by a spell." Gaster said. "...my dad." You mumbled. "What did you say?" Gaster asked, sounding annoyed. "I had a love soul once. But... when my dad turned..." You swallowed what seemed to be adrenaline to finish "...and raped my mom and I."

Gaster stopped what he was doing and looked at you, horrified. He saw you were shaking and gripping onto the bench. "M..My soul kept getting d..darker... and d..darker... a-and-" "Ok ok ok! That's enough!" You perked at a hand on your shoulder. "That's enough. You can stop talking about it." You looked at Gaster, who was rubbing your shoulder.

"Alright. Thank you."

You and Gaster had been talking for hours. But now you were walking the streets, scaring away Betty's little crawlers. Your crawlers were eating any they could catch, which was usually all you can see. Gaster, meanwhile, was watching you closely. He knew you could beat her. He didn't know why he was worried.

Then it happened.

Betty appeared in front of you and something covered the camera.

Gaster never felt so scared since his fight to save Sans.

- Another Longer Later -

You were limping through the city, seeing people and monsters cheer for you. Gaster was running throughout the city as he saw people and monsters get their souls back. Chara and Asriel were hugging as you leaned against a building. Gaster started sprinting towards the words of "Is there a doctor?!".

As your vision got blurry, you noticed a fuzzy figure dressed like Gaster. Sans and Papyrus were looking for Gaster while the man was running towards you. "(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Stay awake for me!" Gaster called as he reached you. "C..Can I please rest..? I... I feel-" "I promise you a whole month to rest, but you have to stay with me."

You nodded as Gaster picked you up bridal style. He teleported a few times before Asgore perked at noise in the lab. "Gaster! You found (Y/N)!" Asgpre called as Gaster quickly placed you on the lab couch. Everyone in the house soon watched as Gaster worked despiretly to save your life.

You smiled softly as your vision started coming back. "(Y/N), can you see me?" Gaster asked, kneeling to your height. "Can I prove it, doc?" You replied. Gaster shrugged before you held his chin and pull him into a kiss. Chara, Asriel, and Papyrus's eyes were covered as Gaster started kissing back.

You both leaned back and smiled at eachother. Undyne perked and went to the door as Gaster kissed your forehead. "ALPHYS!" Everyone who was watching ran to the door as Gaster checked your soul. "Wow. No... more fear." Gaster said in awe; seeing a love soul for the first time. You smiled and took his hand in yours.

"Thanks Gaster."

"YOU TWO! KISS AGAIN SO ALPHYS CAN SHIP IT!"
