A winter blizzard

Y/N's pov

There was so much snow on the ground that they had to cancel school for the kids Haru and Lilly were happy that they didn't have to go to school for a few days despite they had to help their father clean around the shrine. Tomoe said "as soon as you two are done here then you can play outside," Haru said "okay dad" Y/N was wrapping the twins up in warm clothing when Y/N hears a knock on the door frame. Y/N turns around to see Tomoe standing in the doorway and starts walking over to Y/N and the twins smiled when they see Tomoe walk into the room Luis even yelled at Tomoe for not paying attention to him in a cute way. Tomoe would even turn it into a conversation that Y/N would think is adorable and Y/N would even play along with Tomoe sometimes. Tomoe found it interesting that the twins haven't shown their fox ears or tail yet since they usually start showing or popping out at about 5 months old Y/N said "maybe they are just being shy about it or its late somethings usually don't happen until they are older". Tomoe placed a kiss on Y/N's cheek and a kiss on the twin's foreheads and walks out of the room to go make everyone something to snack on for the day. Mizuki was outside playing with Haru and Lilly Y/N put the twins down for their nap and walked into the living room wondering what Tomoe could be making for a snack. Some hours passed and it was starting to snow hard outside so Y/N called for Haru, Lilly, and Mizuki to come back into the shrine before they got a cold staying out there too long. Tomoe comes into the living room with some cups of a hot liquid inside of them as Tomoe set down the tray Y/N could see that it was hot chocolate inside of the cups with strawberries in a bowl next to them. Tomoe said "seems like a blizzard is coming you two should stay inside," Lilly said, "what's a blizzard?" Y/N said, "a blizzard is a really bad snowstorm". We stayed inside drinking hot chocolate and eating strawberries while the storm settles down but Y/N thinks the storm isn't going to stop any time soon which means digging a hole to get out of the shrine to go anywhere.

Tomoe's pov 

Haru and Lilly were happy that school was canceled for them because of the snow on the ground but they still had to help me around the shrine which they were fine with if they were confused about what to do they would come to me and ask for help. When they were done helping me around the shrine I told them they could go outside and play for a while both of them agreed our bedroom door was open so Y/N could hear what was going on. I walked over to our room seeing the twins dressed up in warm clothing I lightly knocked on the door Y/N looked over at the door and saw me standing there. I started to walk over to Y/N and the twins right as soon as I sit down next to Y/N, Luis starts cutely yelling at me for not paying attention to him I could see Y/N smiling out of the corner of my eye. Y/N would be surprised sometimes since I would make it into a conversation with him sometimes Gracie would join in and Y/N would usually join in half of the time. I was worried about the twins since their ears and tail weren't showing yet and they always start showing around 5 months old Y/N said: "maybe they are just being shy about it or it's late some things usually don't happen until they are older". Maybe Y/N was right about it being late I looked over at Y/N and I placed a kiss on her cheek and a kiss on the twin's forehead before they screamed at me. I walked out of the room and into the kitchen to make them something to snack on and drink I looked out the window seeing Mizuki playing with Haru and Lilly in the snow that was falling outside. It was starting to get a bit late and the snow was coming down a bit harder Y/N was yelling at them to come inside before they got sick by staying outside for too long. I set the cups on a tray with a few bowls of fruit and I walk over to the living room I could see that Y/N was curious about what was inside the cups I set down the tray on the small table we had in the living room. I go to sit down on the floor by Y/N drinking a bit of sake I said "seems like a blizzard is coming you two should stay inside," Lilly said, "what's a blizzard?" Y/N said, "a blizzard is a really bad snowstorm". All of us stayed inside the shrine drinking hot chocolate and eating some fruit I looked over at Y/N seeing that she was looking outside with something on her mind. I know one thing whenever it decided to stop snowing the kids are going to have fun digging a hole out so we can still get out of the shrine and not have to worry about the snow being in the way.
