Celebrating the blossom tree

Y/N's pov

We made it to the mountain where the tengu's live Haru helped with the bags and put them in the room we will be staying in for the night before running off to find Lilly to see where she went. Luis and Gracie were asleep in their carriers Y/N set them down gently and quietly so they didn't wake them up Tomoe got them out of their carriers carefully and gently Tomoe said: "if you want Y/N I can watch the twins for a while". Y/N said "are you sure Tomoe what if the twins get hungry," Tomoe said "then I will feed them when they get hungry" Y/N was a bit worried since Tomoe was used to cooking. Y/N trusted that they were in good hands with Tomoe and went off to get some fresh air walking around the mountain seeing Kurama arrive Kurama said: "Y/N what are you doing here" Y/N said, "to celebrate the blossom tree blooming". Y/N could see that Kurama was thinking about something but didn't know what so she left Kurama so he could think Y/N walked around the mountain some more. Haru and Lilly were playing with the other tengu's that were their age and also made sure Lilly didn't go too far from the others Y/N walked up to the spot where the tree was and saw that it was about ready to bloom. Y/N decided to walk back to the room that they were staying in when Y/N gets grabbed from behind and pinned to a tree Y/N looked to see a wild Yoki standing in front of her. Y/N was scared and didn't know what to do all Y/N could think about was the kids and Tomoe but she heard a familiar voice walking towards her and the wild Yoki. Y/N looked over and saw that it was Kurama and Jiro walking over to Y/N the wild Yoki looked over at the two Jiro went after the Yoki while Kurama went over to Y/N to see if she was okay. Kurama picked Y/N up and brought her back over to where Tomoe and the kids were staying Tomoe looked over and saw Y/N being carried by Kurama which he wasn't too happy about. Tomoe said "is everything okay," Kurama said "yeah just ran into a bit of trouble on the way back," Tomoe said "what kind of trouble" Y/N didn't know what to tell him Kurama said, "Y/N tripped and fell into a hole somewhere by the cherry blossom tree". Kurama set Y/N down by the door and walked off Y/N said "how were the twins" Tomoe said, "they were good and loved pulling at my ears". Y/N giggled a bit and started to get ready for the cherry blossom tree, afternoon came around and everyone ate their dinner and was ready to see the tree bloom for a new season to come. While walking up to the tree we run into Kurama and Jiro also walking to the cherry blossom tree Tomoe wasn't happy to see Jiro but let it slide when he saved Y/N from the thunder lion years ago. All of you make it in time to see the cherry blossom tree bloom as a gentle wind blows in making some of the petals fall off the tree branch Y/N was smiling happily seeing the tree bloom again and the kids get to see it for the first time as well.

Tomoe's pov

All of us were ready to go up to the mountain and got in the floating shrine cart and went up to the mountain where the tengu's live the kids were happy to get out of the shrine Mizuki told us he would be watching over the shrine while we were gone. Once we got to the mountain Haru helped Y/N carry the bags while she was carrying the twins I got them down from the shrine cart and Lilly ran off to go find someone to play with Haru followed not long after her. I walked over to Y/N and the twins to see what she was doing I said "if you want Y/N I can watch the twins for a while Y/N". Y/N said "are you sure Tomoe what if the twins get hungry," I said, "then I will feed them when they get hungry". I could see the worry in Y/N's eyes since she would take care of the kids while I would make them something to eat I told Y/N that the twins would be just fine with me, not only that Y/N needed a break from the twins. I unpacked some of the bags and got a few things out for the twins in case they needed something I could hear Haru and Lilly playing with the other tengu's. I heard one of the twins getting upset and I went to go check what the problem was Gracie was the one getting upset so I picked her up and held her trying to figure out the problem. Gracie seemed to have calmed down when I had her against my chest and I smiled at her 'you only wanted to be held to feel warm didn't you little one' I leaned back against the wall of the room we were staying in. A few hours passed and I see Y/N being carried by Kurama which annoyed me I said "is everything okay," Kurama said "yeah just ran into a bit of trouble on the way back," I said, "what kind of trouble". I looked over at Y/N seeing a scratch mark on her arm Kurama said, "Y/N tripped and fell into a hole somewhere by the cherry blossom tree" Kurama set Y/N down on the ground by the door and then walked off. Y/N said "how were the twins," I said "good, they were awake for a bit and loved pulling at my ears and Gracie wanted some cuddle time" Y/N smiled at Tomoe holding Gracie. It was starting to get a bit late and Y/N was getting ready for the cherry blossom tree I made everyone something to eat then we walked up to the tree. While walking up the tree Kurama and Jiro were also walking up to the tree I was more annoyed that Jiro was there but then I let it slide as he saved Y/N from dying to the thunder lion years ago. All of us make it in time to see the cherry blossom tree blossom its petals a gentle breeze blows some of the petals off the branches I look over at Y/N seeing that she was smiling seeing the tree again and the kids also got to see this for the first time as well which also made Y/N happy.
