That next morning, I told Clint and the kids, about what I found. "The good news is that once I give this to my director. Whoever has been bothering you, won't be bothering you anymore." I told them.

"Really?" Alex asked.

"Really." I confirmed.

I looked over at Lulu, "What's wrong?" I asked her.

"But, Auntie Nat, when this is all done; doesn't that mean you have to go?" she asked.

I frowned, and looked to Alex. I nodded, "Nope, she is staying. We talked it out last night. She's staying for as long as she can." Alex spoke up.

Lulu and Dimitri grinned brightly, "Yes!" they hollered and jumped up to hug me tightly.

I laughed, and hugged them back. "Okay, okay. Monsters, we need to get ready to get Ghost out of this house."

A little later there was a knock on the door, "I'll get it." I stated.

I jumped up, and ran to the door. I opened it to see a man there, "Um, hello, can I help you?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm Ken Johnson. I was Laura's CO. I was told by Director Fury to come, and meet Agent Romanoff." He spoke up.

"Hey, yea, I'm Romanoff. Let's go, it's out in the garage." I told him walking out, and shutting the door behind me.

"I heard that, because you figured this out, you get to choose what you get to do from here on out." He spoke up.

"Yea, I'll probably just stay here. I'll take a desk job, or training job, and just stay with my family." I told him.

"Put your hands up." Someone yelled at us from behind.

We turned to look at them and found the two ninjas from before. They took their masks off while pointing guns at us, and standing there was the Chungs'. "The Chungs?" I questioned. I looked over at the scientist. "I swear I checked them out."

"Give us the key." The wife said, as they walked toward us.

"Put your hands up!" the husband yelled again.

"Okay. Okay." I said raising my arms.

"Here," the scientist said, handing them the key.

I waited a seconded, and said, "Get down!"

I then grabbed the gun from the husband, kicked the wife's out of her hand, elbowed the husband in the face, and caught the wife's gun out of the air. I dropped down to one knee, and pointed both guns at them. I then felt someone come up behind me, felt a sharp pain to the back of the head, and everything went black.

"Hey, Nat." I heard a voice behind me.

I spun around to look, and saw Laura. "Hey, what's going on?" I asked.

"Well, I needed to talk to you. This was the only way I knew how to do it." She said.

I walked up to her, and hugged her tight. "I've missed you, and so has everyone else." I told her.

"Yea, I know I miss them too. I don't have much time, Nat. I just wanted to tell you that I think you're doing a great job with our kids. I'm glad you've decided to stay, and have mended things with the kids. You just need to rein in Clint, and you'll have it all."

"Thank you, I love them so much. Wait...Clint? What do you mean?" I asked her.

"Nat, you didn't think that I was the only woman Clint ever loved, did you?"

"Well, yea. You were his wife. I was just the best friend. We didn't have that kind of relationship."

"Yes, you did. You were as much his, as much as we were each other's, and now he's yours yours. He once talked to me about it. Nearly in tears too. He said there was something wrong with him; because he had everything a man could want. Although, he was also gaining feelings for his best friend. The same best friend that spent every spare minute with him and his family. The same best friend that helped pay for things the kids wanted to do. You stole another part of his heart that we didn't hold. He promised that he would never do anything ever. I knew that, and I didn't care. If I had, I would've asked you to stop coming around. I also knew that something was going to happen to me sooner or later anyway. That's not the point though. The reason I'm here is because you need to just accept it. I know you're trying not to get attached. He loves you, Nat. And I couldn't pick a better person for Clint to finish his life with. I definitely couldn't pick a better person to love our kids either. So, you need to wake up, because they need you. I love you, Nat. Now you take care of our family, and wake up, Nat. It's time to get up. Wake up, Nat." She finished and slowly disappeared.
