It's been two years since the ambush Elijah and elena decided to stay friends until elena finished college it wasn't easy but they just about managed it. over the past two years kol and elena became best friends it was the day after graduation elena got an offer to work in a new restaurant in New Orleans of course elena jumped at the chance of moving to elena all this happened two months ago kol got a job in Florida. Elena's couldn't believe that she starting her new job in two weeks she spent her two months in mystic falls with Jeremy and Jenna elena also had to deal with stefan wanting her back each time stefan asked her out elena told him that's she had moved on and told Elijah every time he did so.

Meanwhile in New Orleans Elijah was working hard trying to keep his excitement of elena moving to New Orleans to himself "Elijah" his father mikeal called "yes father" Elijah answered "are you ok son?" mikeal asked "yes I am father just excited that's all" Elijah answered "excited about what?" mikeal asked "about elena moving here it's less than a week father I love her father" Elijah said "bit your friends right now right?" mikeal asked sitting down "yes father but I'm hoping to get together with elena once she comes here I've been waiting for two years for this" Elijah smiled happily at his father "then you go get now go to mystic falls bring her now I can't wait to met this elena who is making my first born son this happy" mikeal said smiling just as happily to Elijah "are you sure father I have a lot of work going on at the moment?"
