Elijah and elena arrived in New Orleans they went straight to elena apartment they decided to take things slow even though not one of them didn't want to but they taught it would be for the best so for now elena will living in her apartment to that she recently decided to rent. they are now in elena apartment "you got a really nice place elena" Elijah said "thank you Elijah" elena said as she pulled him into a kiss.

Back in mystic falls stefan and Damon are in the grill having a drink at the bar "I'm going to New Orleans to get my girl back Damon" stefan said "just face it stefan you have lost she has a new guy you cheated in her so get over her move on little bro" Damon said "but I can't Damon I need elena back in my life I need her back as my girlfriend" stefan said Damon ordered another round of drinks off matt "here you guys" matt said then he went back to cleaning the counter or that what it looked like Damon and stefan what matt was really doing was listening in on there conversation "stefan she is in love with this Elijah guy remember the night that Elijah came here and she jumped into his arms did she ever do that with you?" still in new orleans at rebekahs house she was on the phone to her mother ester they were having a nice little chat "what would you think about we have a little dinner for elena?" ester asked rebekah "its a great idea but leave it for a while let elena settle in a bit" rebekah said "why?" ester asked "because we dont know if elena would want to meet the parents of her boyfriend thats if they are together" rebekah said "but rebekah thats not the point all we heard of from you elijah klaus and kol is how great elena is yoou all have met her and your father henrick finn and i havent whether they together or not i still want to met her and whether or not that elijah and elena together or get together she still family so i want invite her over for a family meal" ester said "ok mother have it your way" rebekah said
