The order of the phoenix

"I imagine your mother told you about the Order of the Phoenix?" Dumbledore asked I nodded sitting across from him in his office four months since my parents death "she did and I want to join sir I want to fight!" I said with enthusiasm "it's dangerous" I shook my head "I don't care professor he killed my parents" he raised his eyebrows at me "I assume I will soon be having this same conversation with James Sirius Remus and Petter soon?"

"Yes they want to fight too"

"Well you are all of age it is your choice"

"I want to join" he nodded and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen on the paper were a list of names he pointed to a blank spot at the bottom of the page I signed my name Dumbledore nodded "we don't have a meeting place yet. For the time being we are meeting in Hogsmead. We will fill you in at the next meeting. This is very dangerous Mrs. Potter it is the reason your parents are dead" I nodded "no one can know about the order do you understand?" He asked me I nodded "yes I understand sir"

"James what are we doing this Christmas?"I asked him now sitting in the common room with James, Remus, Sirius, and Lily "I don't know I think I'm going to stay here I don't want to be at home" I nodded I don't want to go home either being there will remind me of my parents it'll give me time to think. Christmas break is in two weeks. Lily and her family are going skiing so she will be gone I think Remus and Peter are going home to. I feel so alone I have no family to go home to. I now realize that this is how Sirius feels I mean he has a family but they hate him and he hates them he really has no really family besides me James Remus and Peter. He's helped me a lot though this whole thing. He's been there for me through thick and thin he's my best friend I love him with all my heart.
