Chapter Three

Raelynn's pov

"no dad stop" I yelled. I woke up drenched in sweat. "It was just a nightmare" I said to myself.

I looked at my phone the time read 5:52 am. I might as well just take a shower and get ready for school. I took a long shower and started to curl my hair.

Now what to wear I thought to myself. I decided on a oversized white V-neck, maroon jeggings, jean jacket and my white chuck taylors. I finished everything off with my usual makeup.

"Raelynn you better hurry up you're going to be late" my mom yelled. I rushed downstairs grabbed my bag and left for school.

*at school*

"Hey Raelynn!" my best friend Kenna said. "Hey!" I said back. "So what's this I hear about you moving?" she said. "Let me guess Sammy told you?" I said rolling my eyes. "Yeah. Why didn't you tell me?" she said "I just found out but, anyways she wants to move to somewhere on the east coast." I said. Kenna and Sammy are basically a thing.

*after school*

I've been really stressed out lately so I decided to text the guys.

r- who's up to hang out?
jg- I don't have any plans.
n- sure. who's house?

s- sorry I'm going on a date with Kenna.

They were all passing around a blunt. "Here Raelynn" Nate says handing me the blunt. "I don't smoke." I said in a innocent voice. "Bullshit" they all yelled laughing. "yeah I know" I said taking a hit and passing it on.

We were in the middle of playing truth or dare as usual. "Raelynn, truth or dare?" Nate asked me. "Dare" I said confidently. "I dare you to make out with Gilinsky" he said laughing.

I walked over and sat on Gilinsky's lap. The makeout session was getting heated until Nate said that the time was up. "Sammy is not to hear about that." I said in a serious tone.

I noticed that Johnson looked a little upset. I'll talk to him about it later. "I'm gonna go home guys." Johnson said. "Will you give me a ride since Sammy dropped me off?" I asked. "Yeah of course" he said smiling.

*Johnson pov*

*in the car*

"Jack" Raelynn said. "yeah?" I said. "You looked a little upset after Jack and I made out, is something wrong?" she asked. "Nope." I lied.

I've had the biggest crush on her since she was a freshman. Sammy would kill me if I tried to get with his cousin, just wait till he finds out what Gilinsky just did.
