« Is this really necessary? »

« Of course it is! We need to expand to the world! And the world belongs to those who can afford it. »

Oliver was looking at Victoria, skeptical.

« I know, but this looks completely ridiculous. Who would be dumb enough to get this? »

« Not dumb, Oliver. Mesmerized. People are under your spell. They could jump off a bridge if you told them to. They will. »

« Okay, but that seems pretty obvious we're acting like they were no more than pawns. »
Said the pink-haired man, crossing his arms in an annoyed pose.

« That's what they are, after all. Don't worry. Just trust me. My plan is perfect. They will follow and say whatever you order blindly. »

« Really makes no fucking sense. » he thought.

But after all, Victoria was right. If they wanted to expand their vision, they'd have to be influential. And who have more influence in this world than those who have money?

The world really is corrupted, Oliver always knew. But the more this cult was growing, the more he realized it. However, they'd need a business if they wanted to thrive.
And what Oliver wants, Oliver gets. Or at least, that's what his assistant used to tell him.

« Anyway; the lady continued, you need to get ready for tonight. »

« Tonight? » this simple word suddenly snatched him out of his thoughts.

His assistant let out a deep sigh.
« You really need to listen to me when I organize your schedule. »

« ugh; he replied, hasn't a cult leader more important things to do? »

She giggled.
« You really are a thing, you know. But if you listened to me you'd know there's a party tonight. »

His annoyed expression turned into a slight happy face.
« Oh, I see. You should've started by this. »

« Hm, hm, I'll remember next time. She said in an amused tone.
Your suit is in your room, try to put the shirt right this time. »

« Not my fault if those fancy shits are not practical. » snapped the leader as he got up and made his way to his room.

He couldn't say why, but he felt like things would get interesting very soon.

If he knew.
