Chapter nine

Autumns POV

Ashton handed me a blanket before sitting down on the chair opposite of me. I looked over the balcony railing watching Mica play with his new friends. A tear fell down my cheek.

"Mica doesn't know who his father is, and I don't want him to." I said barely above a whisper.

"Mica told me of a man. Who hurt you. He said he had to watch him hurt you and couldn't do anything to help." Ashton said looking at me with saddens and  sympathy playing on his face.

"He- he told you?" I gasped.

Mica didn't know I was kidnapped when I was 16. He only knew that, the cages he was born and raised in for four years was home.. or the closest thing to home for him anyway.

"He didn't mean to. He said that you were gonna be upset because he promised you that he wouldn't say anything of where y'all came from, in fear you two would be sent back." He explained.

I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say or how to say it.

"Did he tell you anything else?" I finally questioned.

"No... he said that you should be the one to tell it cause you knew the story better than he does." Ashton said looking back at my beautiful little boy.

It was quite for a little bit. I need to figure out where to start and how I wanted to tell it.

"When... when I was 16; my pack was attacked by a group of rogues." I started. "Me and several other girls, I think there was about 15 of us, were taken back to there home. We were thrown in cages and starved for weeks. Some of the younger girls ended up starving to death after the first month or so after being there." Tears stung my eyes, but I held them back. I didn't want to cry while telling the story.

"After the first month in a half, we finally met our capture. He was an older man, muscular and very scary looking. He told us that he wanted to see what we were made of. He brought several men in, one for each girl. He let them in our cages and told us that if we scream, fight, or so anything to hurt the men, they would kill us. We were all confused of what they were doing at first. And then it happen. That was the first day that..." I paused as I tried to find the strength to say what I never thought I would admit to someone else.

"That was the first time I had been with a man. I didn't want it. I wanted to wait.  But I wanted to live even more. I saw so many girls get beat so bad they couldn't go on. I was scared and I wanted to go back to my family. As time went on. It started to happen every day. Everyday for two years, there would be a different man in my cage. And I had to lay there and take it. I cried the whole time and I thought of my daddy and mama, and my brothers. And then I thought of my future mate; I knew he would reject me for sure." I paused for a moment to look up from my hands and down at Mica.

"After two years there was only 5 of us left. It was me, summer, Natalie, jade, and hunter. Hunter was in the cage next to me and we became best friends. One day the man who captured us came in. He said that the men wouldn't come anymore and that it was just going to be him from now on. He said we made it and that we were the strongest of all the girls there; But he wanted to find the strongest. Before him, I thought what the other men did to us was bad but it wasn't as bad as this man. Summer was first that day, and I don't know what got into her, but when she saw the whip he had, she freaked. She tried to kill him. Her wolf came out and she lunged at him and the next thing we know she was laying on the floor, blood coming from her chest. From that moment we knew we couldn't do anything. Natalie was next and then jade then hunter and then me. We made it through that day. But that night Natalie couldn't take it anymore. She said that her family was dead and she didn't want his slimy hands on her body anymore. She found a shard of glass and stabbed herself in the stomach. We tried to stop her but she was in so much pain." Tears started slowly spilling over my cheeks.
