The night flew by surprisingly. Nova had fallen into a deep sleep and when she woke up, it was still dark. It was about 5am and Billie was out cold in the other bed beside her. She walked over to her bed and looked down at her, brushing silver hair from her perfect face. Nova sighed and went into the bathroom, where she changed into a pair of Nike running shorts and a sports bra. She needed some air, and she felt a run would be the perfect way to do that. Nova grabbed her phone and her air pods and left the room, shutting the door quietly. She walked down the hallway and went through the lobby. A familiar voice stopped her from leaving the hotel and she spun around to see who the voice came from.

"Hey Finneas. I figured you would have been gone by now." Nova said, walking over to him and pulling out an ear pod so she could hear him.

He smiled. "Flight got delayed. I'm just waiting for my Uber now." He shrugged, standing up from his chair. "It seems a little early for you to be up. Normally you're sleeping until noon." He joked.

Nova sighed. "I needed some air. So I'm going out for a run to clear my head." She reached up and squeezed his forearm. "It's not going to be the same without you here Fin."

He blushed, pulling her into a hug. "It will be okay. You get to shine now and I can't wait to see how much you blossom." He pulled her out a bit to look down at her. "You're so talented, and such a real human being, I'm glad to be giving you the chance to show the rest of the world what you can do, Nova." He said, kissing the top of her head.

Nova sighed, taking in his words. He seemed to have so much faith in her. More than she ever had in herself. "Thanks Fin. I just hope things work out." She practically whispered.

He scoffed. "I know she fucked up. And what she did was wrong, and you are justified in whatever you're feeling. Just some insight, as her older brother and best friend... she's never been in a real relationship ever. Male or female. It's new to her. And she is just starting to live like a normal teenager." He paused, a smirk on his face. "Well, as normal as she can be. But the drinking, the parties, the responsibility of a relationship, it's all new."

Nova listened to him intently, taking in every word he was saying before she said anything in return.

Finneas continued. "She's a pretty mature person for her age, and I think she really knows that she messed up. And even though it's not allowed, I think she really loves you. Just remember, mistakes can be made, and lessons can be learned, but neither of you owe anyone but yourselves and if you can get through this patch, you'll conquer the world. You're both talented, strong, beautiful women and I'm so thankful to call you both my family." He said, looking towards the front door where an Uber pulled up. "I gotta go. But if you need anything, you have my number. Don't hesitate to text or call. Bye Nova. Things will turn around, I know it." He said, giving the million dollar smile before he left the front doors of the hotel and got into the black suv.

Nova stood there for a few minutes, taking in what he had said. He made sense, but nova still felt heartbroken and she couldn't just forget about what happened and move on. Nova respected Finneas, and she knew he had good points but it was going to take some time. She flipped through her playlist and chose her running playlist. The list was on shuffle and it started playing Waste of Time by Snow Tha Product. Nova left the hotel and started running down the sidewalk. It was still dark and there was very little traffic. It was slightly chilly and goosebumps rippled on her smooth skin. Nova melted into the adrenaline of the run and her mind just went to Billie and what she was going to do. She really had a hard decision to make.

Back at the hotel, the sun was rising and the sunbeams on Billies face caused her to flutter her crystal blue eyes open. Groaning, she stretched and rolled over to look at Nova. Her bed was empty, and Billies heart sank. Where did she go? Was she coming back? "Fuck." She whispered to herself as she got up from her bed and looked into the bathroom which was also empty. "Where did she go?" She questioned again, going to her phone. She had a text, but it wasn't from Nova.
