6 months later " Your baby boy is now six pounds, & has turned to delivery position." the doctor told me & King & smiles drew across our faces. " Okay so, would I have to get rest or anything?" Walking will help with a smooth delivery & It'll help you dilate" the doctor said , walking would be hard for me because even though I walked at times I didn't like to.
" Would delivery be different being that it can be a possibility of him being down syndrome?" King asked. Our doctor had told us that the baby had extra thick skin behind his neck, which can mean he is down syndrome but it doesn't really mean it. Since then King had been stressing over it. " No sir, delivery wouldn't be different. But as I said , down syndrome isn't always the case of thick skin." We were always told this, & it seemed as though the doctor got tired of King asking. " Okay, that is all for today. I will see you guys next week." The doctor said leaving the room. - When King pulled up at my house I could see the depressing on his face. " What's wrong?" I asked, turning his face towards mines. " Nique, this don't bother you?" he asked with tears going down his face. " Stop focusing on the possibility of it being down syndrome, think about if it isn't." I said wiping the tears from his face. I opened the car door & kissed him before getting out. When I made it in the house I laid on the sofa & watched tv , my pregnancy was extremely boring. So I fell asleep right then & there.

- I woke up to the voices of Jaliyah, King, & Ja'Quan. Idk what they were doing here or how they got in but they were loud asf. " What y'all doing here?" I asked sitting up on the sofa.
