" wahn , wahn" I heard a baby crying as the doctors walked a baby boy in my birthing room. This was a miracle, because for weeks my baby & I was being watched on because of me being shot while pregnant. & it was a relief for me.

" aww , momma baby." I said as the nurse handed him to me. He was extremely adorable & didn't look like a new born because of how long we've been here & we was about to leave.

" where is king?" I asked looking around the room.

" He left to go get something to eat, he'll be back soon sha." Jaliyah said making me laugh.

" Good afternoon you guys, I have the discharge papers. I just have a few papers for mommy to sign & you'll be ready to go." The nurse said walking in the room.

At this point I didn't know how excited to be. I was actually going home with my baby. It was hard for me, & my mind had been all over the place thinking about what my life would be like if my baby didn't survive or what life for him would be like if I didn't survive.

" okay, all done. You all can leave as soon as you get ready." The nurse said leaving the room with papers she had me to sign.

" How you feeling?" My momma asked.

" I'm okay, I just wanna take my baby home & be a momma." I said

" I know how you feel. But when you get home, I don't want you thinking about anything negative that has happened." She said rubbing my forehead.

" I won't, I'm past it." I said

" good morning sleeping beauty." King said walking through the door.

" good morning King. Momma can you get my slippers & a wheelchair for me to get downstairs?" I said sitting up on the side of the bed.

" he so pretty." A girl said sitting next to king.

" Who is this?" I asked sitting down in the wheelchair, I felt myself getting light headed.

" I'm Cherish." She said smiling.

I never heard about Cherish & I damn sure know she wasn't kin to King.

" I knew he was cheating." Jaliyah said walking in with anger all over her face.

" What you talking about?" King said standing up to Jaliyah.

" I got pictures of y'all." She said showing me pictures. King & Cherish has been kissing on each other & all hugged up in public.

" Momma, bring me home." I said

Before I got out of the hospital, I had brought me an apartment to live in with King & Kaden our baby. I didn't want to be crowded in my momma house, since my daddy moved in.

" You need anything before I leave?" My momma asked. She had came over to help me organize my apartment.

" No, I got it. The baby sleeping so ima take me a bath & watch some lifetime." I said.

" Okay, & if King come & you don't feel comfortable around him. Let me know." She said leaving out the door.

" Okay momma, thank you." I said.

I was regretting the way I had talked to her, before I got shot. A mother is always there for her child no matter what, & that's exactly how things would be with me & Kaden.

After I bath I put on my robe & got on the sofa with a warm blanket to watch tv. It felt so good to be home!

3 Hours Later
" Where Kaden?" King asked walking in the house.

" In his bed." I said looking back at King.

" What you doing?" He asked sitting next to me.

" I been waiting on you, to get your shit & get out." I said

" It's like that?" he asked looking me in the eye. He gave me then puppy dog eyes the I didn't fall for.

" You need me to help you?" I asked

" So you gone put me out? How I'm gone see my son?" He asked.

" That's the thing, you not. Cause when your son was in the hospital on his dying bed? You was messing around with some skank." I said raising my tone. Just thinking about it made me more madder ! King had me fucked up.

" Man, them pictures don't prove a damn thing." He said raising his tone back.

" Get out, or I can have somebody to help you out." I said

" Bet." He said.

When King left, the house felt lonely, I was lonely. But I couldn't let him back in....

2 Months Later
It was Jaliyah's birthday & she wanted me there. We had been planned her birthday party, we just didn't think I would have a baby.

" Welcome, Welcome." Jaliyah said welcoming people into her party.

" Bitch, you stupid." I said laughing.

She had changed her party from the Club to a yard party because she wanted Kaden to be there. I had gotten dressed earlier & was looking fly as ever.

" Bitch, you got thick, thick." Jaliyah said.

" Aww yeah, that's baby fat or dick?" Tokyo asked making me laugh.

" Bitch, I ain't have dick in a while. So I'm guessing it's baby fat." I said

" Y'all look Javain." Jaliyah said making our eyes turn in a boys direction.

She had been telling me about this dude, I never got to see him. He was kind of cute though , made me want me a nigga.

" Wassup." She said.

" Bitch look King here." Tokyo said.

" I know you lying, Jaliyah we gone catch up with y'all." I said pushing Kaden stroller towards the punch.

" Then he brought his bitch here." Tokyo said taking off her earrings.

" Wassup." Ja'Quan said walking up to us with King.

" Hay, Ja'Quan." I said as he kneed down to play with Kaden.

King looked at Kaden & started to smile,I knew he wanted to pick him up but it wasn't gonna happen.

" Thats my neph there." Ja'Quan said. He was looking over at Ja'Liyah & Javain at the same time though. He was looking for trouble.

" I can't touch my son?" King asked.

" He don't look like you." Cherish said looking at me then at Kaden.

" Bitch, what you Tryna say?" I said.

" He ain't his." She said.

" Watch your mouth bitch that's my son." King said.

Before she could say anything I punched her in the face. I was getting really tired of her.

" Get out !" Jaliyah said running over by us.

" Bae!?" She said looking over at King.
