Nikki P.O.V.
-Back to the present-
As I search the house I begin to feel like some one or something is watching me. I find some food in the kitchen and a backpack that still looks useable. I put the scavenged food into the pack as I sling it over my back. When I do, I suddenly hear a growl and I grab my sisters arm and pull her behind me as I turn around.
"MATE!!!" my wolf cries from inside me. I'm aw struck as I see a large black wolf with gray ears standing not even 5 feet away.
"You are mine and will come with me" I hear a deep rumble come from the wolf. I didnt think any wolves could talk in their form like that.
I stand frozen unable to truly process what is happening. As he takes a step closer, I cant help but growl at him to back up since my sister is behind me and cowering in fear. As soon as I growl I find myself regretting it as I see hurt wash over the wolf's face. I watch him very carefully as I watch him shift.
I almost start drooling he is so hot. He has jet black hair that is partly shaved on the sides with longer hair on the top of his head. His eyes are a deep brown that just draws me in. He has a nice even tan ALL over his body. He has a hook nose and strong jaw line. He just watches me and stretches out his hand. I look at his hand to him back a forth a couple times before I lock eyes with him and step to the side just a little to show him my little sister who is shaking in fear.
His eyes go black once again and he says that she is also his. I grow very curious. Does this mean that me and my little sister are his mates?
I watch as his face looks pained to step back to try and make my.little sister stop crying. I pick her up and place her on my hip.
"So what's your name?" He asks tword me and my sister
"My name is Nikki and my sisters name is Faith. Does your pack live around here?"
"Yeah, this territory was unclaimed for about 2 years after the destruction of its pack. Afterward, I apllied for it do join my pack tarittory. We just havnt gotten to fixing it yet cuz it always seemed to have such an earry feel. My beta informed me he saw rouges come tword the house. Once he said there was a small girl, I assumed that I should come myself. Let me say, I'm glad I did." He adds that last part as he looks over my naked body causing me to suddenly feel self countous.
"So what now then?" I ask him simply
"Well, you and Faith will come back with me and you will be the Co-Lunas. Also, I I ok nt think I gave you my name. Its Alexander"
The seccond I hear his name I feel my body shudder.
"Can you wait outside and give me a second to talk with my sister?" I ask slowly and carfully.
"Sure, but make it quick." He then turns around and walks outside.
Faith, that man is going to take us to a pack. Probably an alpha house. I know your scared, but it will be okay. You trust your big sister right?
Yes, I understand... what did he mean when he looked at me and said "Mine"? And why did he call you a mate? What is that?
He meant that now, me and you are very important to him. He will help us and take care of us. I know your a little scared of him, so just hold my hand and dont let go. You dont even have to talk to him if you dont want to.
Ok...
I talk me little sisters hand and sling the backpack over me just incase I need it. This Alexander might be my mate, but I know not all mates are trustworthy. But oh boy, I hope the moon goddes did not make a mistake.
As we walk up behind him I can tell he is talking through mindlink. Probably to his pack saying he foud his lunas. I'm a little woried anout my sister, but if he cares he wount make her before she is ready.
He quickly turns around and jumps a little when I tap his shoulder.
"Ready?"
"I guess so." I reply quickly
"Both of you get on" he says as he shift back into a wolf and lowers to let us on. I lightly shake my head and shift my self, and my sister climbed onto my back like normal.
He stares in what i can only guess is awe. Then he turns quickly and starts off west.
