Annie's POV:
Pain shot through me as soon as my back hit the cold stone floor nocking the air out of me and leaving me with a big painful bruise. I rolled onto my stomach and clasped for air but before I could even stand up I felt somebodys heel press into my back. I yelled out in pain and clawed the floor hoping for it to stop.
The heel left my back and I was yanked up. A knife pressed against the skin on my neck and blood started to flow out of the wound.
I screamed out, but not from pain, but from anger against the person doing this to me. She had gone completely crazy by kidnapping me and holding me in this old abandoned hotel.
What I couldn't figure out though was why she kidnapped me. Sure I probably wasn't her favourite person in the world, but she didn't even know me. What reason would she have? Well yeah I saw her, but still.
5 hours earlier
The Autumn air was freezing cold this evening and I could feel my body shaking as the cold air whipped my hair around. I didn't have time to get dressed properly so I was wearing only a pair of black skinny jeans and a gray hoodie with a white T-shirt under it. And it was teeth chattering cold.
I took out my phone and plugged in my earphones and soon music blasted into my ears. My mood was still sour though, and even music couldn't change it this time.
Usually when ever I had a problem or was depressed, I'd always go to Clara. This time though the only thing that can help me is time. May it be only an hour or two, but that was all I needed.
It was already getting dark but I couldn't go back now, I wouldn't. All I could do was just keep walking towards the park and maybe empty my sadness and anger there.
The wind was harshly rustling the trees, making the leaves fly furiously in the air. The sky was taking a threatening black colour with no stars to be found anywhere, only the moon was shining in the black sky.
The park was illuminated with only a few shining lamps, giving it a creepy and mysterious aura. The fact that it was cold and dark didn't bother me so I just headed to the bench in the furthest corner and sat down with my head in my hands.
The only thing that could hear were a few cars passing the driveway and the wind rustling the trees and bushes, other than that everything was quiet. I lifted my head from my hands and looked at the big round moon shining above me. The simplest of questions on my mind repeating itself over and over again.
“What did I do?”
The words slipped out of my mouth like sharp knives cause the next thing I knew was that big drops of salty water were covering the front of my hoodie and more were coming by the second.
I sat on the bench for a while and when I felt that I had cried everything out I stood up, whipped away all the messed up make-up and tears and put on my usual stone hard emotionless face. I started walking back towards the entrance of the park and dug out my earphones. Before I could even stick the earphones into my ears, I heard rustling and the sound of a van's door being opened roughly.
It was nothing to really catch my interest but something was bothering me in the inside to go and check out who was banging with the doors. I walked towards the darkest part of the park towards the place where the noise came from. The noise came again but this time it wasn't the doors, this time it was the sound of ducktape being ripped.
It was clear to me that something was very wrong and I wanted to run away from this place as fast as my feet could take, when I tried though my body wouldn't budge and something was pulling me towards the van. There was only a big bush separating me and the place where the van was probably parked, so I peaked over the side.
